- ANAngel & Lina NegronJan 13, 20261.0I would have given 0 stars if I could. I placed and order for equipment for over 110k for a job in Indiana and it was a nightmare. The counter guy Reinaldo was great at first until the mistakes start happening. First, we were supposed to get 2-10 ton RTU gas package units for a job in Indiana. Straight Cool Air Conditioners show up with 10 KW heaters for the up-north winter. lol And of course our inventory said we have them but what was shipped was not the right ones and the gas one was not available for us to finish on time. Along with our order was 4-15 ton split systems. We were shipped 5 split units, which means i had to rent a trailer and bring back 1 from Indiana. I was told sorry; we didn't charge you for a delivery. Like the mistake was made on purpose to make us even some how. The last unit we waited for was a 15 ton gas RTU we had to wait on. When i arrive to pick it up, turns out it was not gas although the computer screen at Reinaldos desk said it was. While Reinaldo was upset with me, at that point I had no choice but to take it. Drove it all the way there and we could not make it fit the existing curb. The worst part is, once we finish the install, we can't start them up. Was on the phone with Trane tech support fortwo days until he finally decided to send a senior tech out to take a look. Senior tech came out and plugged his labtop to the new Symbio computer board on the condenser and realized the blower VFD controller was not communicating with the condenser board so the equipment will never run properly. It was only after the tech by passed the VFD controller from his laptop where we able to start the units. Two weeks after the job is done i get a bill from Trane for $2,200. I contacted Reinaldo and his boss David at the Tampa store and both basically told me to pound sand. I went to the regional manager Dave also, and he said he couldn't pay me to learn how to install the equipment. Overall experience was horrible from the first delivery and still going because they wont stop sending the bill. I will pay it but i will never do business with Trane ever again.
