  Called Alvarez Plumbing & A/C on Tue-3/10/2026 to schedule a springtime A/C system-check/tune-up; got an appointment for 8-10AM the very next day. Asked about pricing and decided to sign-up for a maintenance plan good for 3 system checks (this initial one, plus 2 more) for $348 ($116 per appt). Received a call at approx 7:50AM on 3/11 from tech Ramiro Gallardo informing he expected to arrive in approx 1 hour; he arrived at 9:00AM. I showed him where my units were located, informed that the system is running fine but that I wanted a full system-check/tune-up. Ramiro went right to work and knocked on my door about an hour later to review his findings: He found my blower motor to be frozen in the ON position and therefore was not turning off as it should when running in the AUTO setting (as was set on my thermostat). (I had not noticed this, but found turning the fan to OFF on the thermostat indeed had no effect, and after setting back to AUTO it did indeed never turned off the rest of that day and throughout the night.) Ramiro informed I would need to replace the blower motor, and although the current motor was still under warranty, the cost to replace would be $535 for installation and new warranty paperwork. (This is over & above the $116 for the system-check appointment itself.) I agreed to the work, and scheduled another appt for first thing the next morning (Thu-3/12/2026) for the motor replacement. Received a call at approx 9:15AM on Thu-3/12/2026 from the tech who was to perform the work (Jacob Fox) informing he would be there in 15-20 minutes. He arrived at my house punctually at 9:30AM and immediately went to work. He finished approx 1-hour later (10:25AM), and reviewed the work he performed including pictures he had taken on his phone while performing the replacement. The fan is now turning on/off as it should. Unfortunately I have no idea how much money I wasted in power costs while the old blower motor was running non-stop; but it is fixed now and that's all I can do. I am very pleased with my experience with Alvarez so far. Both techs were very professional, very polite, and did not try to up-sell me any other services like my old A/C company used to do on every single visit. (My previous A/C company was AND Services. Stay far, far away from that company. I think they put all of their techs through a timeshare sale program tweaked for selling needless A/C services. They are the worst, high-pressure sales A/C company I have ever encountered in the 43 years I have lived in Florida.) I'm so glad to have found a new A/C company that appears to be honest and reliable. Five stars to Alvarez Pluming & A/C for professionalism, quality of work, punctuality and transparency.

  Jacob Fox came out after 1 day of telling him what was going on with our ac unit he was very knowledgeable and fast on what was going on with the unit very glad and happy he was able to come out and help us get everything fixed and get cooling again he's a really good guy!!

  I called Alvarez Plumbing & Air on a Friday to service my 2011 Trane unit, due to the outside compressor wasn't working. Service said tech would be available between 12:30 to 3:30. Tech was Jacob Fox arrived between estimate time. Jacob asked history and what issues having with A/C unit and what seemed to be In a short time he evaluated the problem..

  I had a great experience using Alvarez Plumbing & AC . The two technicians (James W & Jake W) arrived on time and were extremely knowledgeable and had our ac repaired quick . They went over every detail with me and I can now rest assured that my unit is in top shape . I would highly recommend this company !

  I made a call to get a second opinion to replace an air-conditioning and heat pump for our property in Florida. They came out the same. They gave a quote pictures and were very thorough about the explanation of what needed to take place. The pricing was just as good or better than other competitors and follow up was outstanding. Also I appreciate the help a quick response and the service.
