They build these houses so fast. This is my first new build buy (never again). and the cosmetics are HORRIBLE! I think I would be too nervous to see the construction under all the drywall. The floors creek like it’s 20 years old already. I have had some major warranty work done that just makes you say “really”? Does anyone check this stuff? This has been a VERY frustrating experience. I would never buy a new build ever again. I would rather buy an older home. Honestly, less problems. My last house was built in 2001 and purchased it in 2018. I never had creaking floors, leaking sinks, hot water issues, electrical issues, or landscape drainage issues. WAY over priced for the quality. This is just a very poor build.

I'm lucky to be apart of this beautiful community. After living here for 8 months I've been very pleased. Christian was awesome to work with!!

Current owner here. Lot next to me is under construction. After returning from a short vacation on a Friday afternoon I discovered our water was off. I called the utility company to make sure our account was up to date and see if there may be an issue. Utility rep offered to send someone out to check the meter for any issues, for a small $50 fee if it wasn’t their fault. I agreed as I had no idea what may have been the issue. Turns out a contractor damaged the water line going to our house from the lot under construction. Thankfully the construction manager Colton is great and it was resolved by construction by 8 PM. However, when telling the warranty rep about the small fee from the utility company I was basically told it was my decision to call the utility company and that they would not cover the fee. It’s only $50 but to me it is more about the principle and me wondering if anything major happens how much of a headache it would be to get it resolved. I bought over a half a million dollar home with a 30 year mortgage through Richmond. I expected better than that. Responsibility rested on them as their contractor that they used caused the issue without notification to anyone. I know that this is 2023 and most companies are like this. Just don’t expect this one to be any different.

Christian and Clayton have been great! I did not get the pleasure of working with either of them during the process of building but any time I have had an issue they have been able to help. The issue I have is with all the different contractor preforming very low quality work. I have door frames that aren’t leveled and are on a slant….irrigation system causing sink holes in my yard and destroying my property. Do not build with them they are not worth the price and it’s sad to say this was my first ever home and I’m already looking at others in the area. Save your time and money and look else where!!!!
