Unfortunately, their prices are so much higher than before. In many cases - they were at or near retail. Blame on tariffs, etc. Too bad, there were several items i would have bought.

- LMLee MckainMay 24, 20251.0I live close by and was shopping at the outlets so I decided to stop in because of the Memorial Day sale they were having. I have to say that the employees were very helpful in answering questions I had about their products. I was at the store for some time looking over the sales they had going on. The employees all had a very good attitude and did not seem annoyed by me asking questions with the exception of one who just happened to be the manager, Nina. She not only seemed annoyed by the fact that I had several questions. I had selected several tools to buy while I was shopping. Everything in store was 40% with the exception of the items that said final price. I selected one tool that was $149 and expected to receive the 40% off because the price marked did not say final price. I then showed them where I found the tool. Nina grabbed the tag that was advertising it as $149 then pointed to another place the tool was at that did say final price and said she would not honor the advertised price of 40% off. Her attitude and her unwillingness to honor the advertised price was enough for me to decide not buy anything at the store. So I put the stuff back and cancelled the order I placed and will be contacting their corporate office about the experience I had while at their store. Just really poor customer service on the part of their manager on duty. Direct tools would be better off with one of the other employees handling their customer service because she won’t even stand behind the prices they have advertised. Waste of an hour of my time. I’ll pay the extra few bucks elsewhere.

And the staff are surprisingly knowledgeable and genuinely concerned with getting me what I need for the best price. Call me impressed! I ask Joe his name every time because I'm impressed with the service, but end up forgetting because I just do that. But I don't forget the way I'm treated, which is why I keep coming back.
