When you need a plumber do yourself a favor and call Superior Plumbing. Great communication, super knowledgeable and locally owned!! I’ve used them several times and the first time was an emergency, backflow shooting water everywhere. The second was routine hot water heater maintenance.

Jared came to our home to inspect a cracked waste water pipe. Before they began lining it they thoroughly cleaned it to insure the lining would adhere to the old cast iron pipe. Elian, Mike and Conner returned the next day to install the lining. They left the lining inflated overnight and removed the bladder early the next morning.
They worked well as a team to prepare, install and clean up the site. While they were working they took the time to answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend their services, they are professionals! Thank you to Jared and his team!

Jared and his team just completed a very difficult lining and repairing job at our home here in Sarasota. We have a 65 year old home and our cast iron piping was disintegrating under the house and our septic tank and drain field were also non- functioning. Although the house and the yard were a mess for a couple of weeks, Jared and his guys did everything possible to allow us to live comfortably while all this work was going on. It wasn’t easy- it wasn’t cheap - but I feel we now have many, many years of hassle free plumbing ahead of us. Thank you Superior Plumbing

Excellent work! Called at 8:15pm on a Friday night and Jared was onsite in less than 30 minutes. Fixed a large broken ground pipe in our front yard and had everything resolved quickly! Can’t recommend enough! Great service.

Frequently Asked Questions About Superior Plumbing Maintenance LLC
Why is water filtration important in Southwest Florida?
Water filtration is crucial in Southwest Florida due to the high mineral content, sediment, and natural contaminants present in the water. This is a result of the region's limestone aquifer and aging infrastructure. Many areas also experience hard water, which can be damaging to plumbing, appliances, and fixtures over time. Installing a proper filtration system not only improves the taste of your water but also protects your plumbing and ensures cleaner, safer water throughout your property.
What type of water filtration system is best for my property?
The ideal water filtration system for your property depends on your specific water source and concerns. Many properties in Southwest Florida benefit from whole-home filtration, water softeners, or reverse osmosis systems. Properties with well water may require additional treatment for elements like iron, sulfur, or bacteria. To determine the most suitable solution for long-term protection and performance, we recommend conducting a professional water test.
How often do water filtration systems need maintenance?
Maintenance frequency for water filtration systems varies based on the type of system and usage. Generally, most systems require filter changes every 6 to 12 months, depending on water quality and consumption. Reverse osmosis systems may need membrane replacement every 2 to 3 years. For whole-home systems and water softeners, annual inspections are recommended to ensure optimal functioning. Regular maintenance is essential for maintaining system efficiency and extending its lifespan.
How often should my septic tank be pumped?
The frequency of septic tank pumping depends on factors such as household size, water usage, and tank capacity. For most homes, pumping every 3 to 5 years is sufficient. However, properties with higher water usage or smaller tanks may require more frequent service. Regular pumping is essential to prevent issues like backups, unpleasant odors, and costly system failures.
What are the signs that my septic system needs service?
Several indicators suggest your septic system may require service. These include slow drains, gurgling sounds in pipes, sewage odors, wet spots in the yard, or backups in toilets or sinks. If you notice any of these signs, it's important to schedule a professional inspection promptly to prevent further damage and potential health hazards.
Can septic problems be repaired, or do I need a full replacement?
The solution for septic issues depends on the severity of the problem. Many issues, such as clogs, minor drainfield problems, or tank damage, can be repaired if detected early. However, systems that are severely deteriorated, flooded, or failing may require partial or complete replacement. A thorough professional inspection is necessary to determine the most cost-effective and long-lasting solution for your specific situation.
What's the difference between pipe lining and pipe replacement?
Pipe lining is a trenchless repair method that creates a new, durable inner pipe within the existing one, without removal. It's an excellent option for restoring aging or damaged pipes with minimal disruption to your property. Pipe replacement, on the other hand, involves removing the old pipe and installing new piping, which may require excavation. While more invasive, replacement is sometimes necessary for pipes that are severely collapsed or structurally unsalvageable.
How do I know if my pipes can be lined instead of replaced?
Determining whether your pipes are suitable for lining requires a professional inspection using video camera diagnostics. Pipes with issues such as corrosion, cracks, scale buildup, or minor deterioration are often good candidates for lining. However, if the pipe is fully collapsed, crushed, or missing sections, replacement may be the more appropriate solution. Our experts can assess your specific situation and recommend the most effective approach.
How long does pipe lining or replacement last?
Both pipe lining and replacement offer long-term solutions when properly installed by trained professionals. High-quality pipe lining materials can last 50 years or more, providing a durable solution without major excavation. Full pipe replacement also offers decades of reliability, with the lifespan depending on the material used. Both options are designed to restore proper flow and prevent future failures, ensuring long-lasting performance for your plumbing system.
