  Love my new shade, the process was easy from ordering to installation and the technicians made sure everything was perfect and to my satisfaction before they left. I was dreading summer but now bring it on! Looks so good, a continuation to the outside.

  I am very puzzled as I write this review on October 27th, 2025. We contacted Discount Awnings and had Whitman Hillier visit our ranch-style house on September 12th, 2025, to provide a quote for a simple fixed awning. With 35 years of experience, he assured us that he had seen it all. He discussed the project with us to understand our needs, took measurements, and promised to send us the provisional quote the following week. However, since then, we have heard nothing. I followed up with the company twice, and each time I spoke to Whitman. He mentioned that they were busy and had issues with quoting but assured me they would work on it that night and get back to me the next day. Yet, there has still been no response! What am I missing here? If the job is too small, too difficult, or if they simply do not want it, wouldn't it be more professional to at least inform us of their thoughts?

  It was a pleasure dealing with Steve, the price was very fair. Awnings were delivered and installed in in time frame originally quoted. Awnings looked great and are very well constructed. Dalton showed up with his crew and had all my awnings up in two hours. Very professional and he made sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend DISCOUNT AWNINGS.....UPDATE....5 years and 2 hurricanes later still in great shape. UPDATE: It's going on 7 years since Discount Awning installed my awnings and I have to tell you they've definitely stood the test for high winds as far as durability and great looks. I would highly recommend this fabulous family-owned local company. Thank you
