J2W CUSTOM FENCE did a great job with my 2 sides of property. Even got wings at the seawall so animals/people cant get around AT ENDS. After Ian, parts of it were crushed by neighbors branches. They came out within 2 weeks and assessed what parts needed and back in 2 days and fixed everything! Very good, responsive Fence company. Recommend highly. Sally B. Port Charlotte

After Hurricane Ian we needed our fences put up. I had put up over 1600 linear feet of chain link by myself to replace the vinyl since we didn't need that much vinyl. I contacted J2W and let them know, they measured 2x and told me it was 300 ft and they could use my old fencing too since it was the exact same brand and colorWe agreed on a total price of $2000 for their work on the fence and 200 for the gates. I had extra panels here from the storm so no need to buy more so I was confused when they told me they had to order some extra materials.Cyndi then sent me an invoice for $3200. She then stated that there was a "delivery fee" we had NEVER discussed. Then she accused me of having "chemo brain" and not remembering. In the end, I paid the money so they would come and finish the work because they hadn't put the gates up and we have 3 dogs that don't need to escape. - In the email dated 08/28/2023 @12:21 when asked how it went from $2200 to $3025, she stated I was short 40-60 feet "going into the trees" and then in your "itemized" bill you didn't order any new panels - or concrete for that matter, yet I was short on concrete and panels and rails? How could that possibly be?! I asked for an itemized receipt and on on 08/28/2023 @ 1107 and you said you would send them the next Tuesday when you return. You didn't send it until 09/26/2026 @ 1402. Nothing on it made sense. When you sent the invoice, it had A RETURN never given to me of 35 bags of concrete Mix you claimed I paid for (A crime in FL)-Fence Outlet only carries 1 kind of concrete, so I didn't buy the wrong kind. Dieter left mine out in the rain instead of leaving it in the shed like he said he was going to. All parts claimed were sitting in my yard before work even began. Verified by them. She was told the hardware was throwin in my bushes by Scott or Dieter, in the plastic still. My old fence had the correct 7" cutouts for rails, theirs were 5". NONE of the items have any PO on them with a customer name, they purchased materials, installed, and returned them, all on the same day without every telling me until after it was done, then mark it up 15% for delivery after I told him I would pick up any materials from Fence Outlet and he stated "we are there all the time so it won't be a charge". I even sent you the text messages at the time. This was stated in the email on 10/04/2023 @1028. On 10/04/2023 @ 1259 you then blamed me for not being present on the install and stated again that I "was short about 60 feet of vinyl to get into the trees and jad told Scott to pick up for you." despite no receipts show any VINYL being purchased, or even concrete. THEN on 11/06/2023 @ 11:11 You sent me an invoice for $550 because " I have to pay our crews a minimum labor charge to go out to jobs and do even little jobs." which was not mentioned ever, prior to you starting the work and agreeing to $2200. At this point, yes I refused to pay as you had already breached the contract and extorted an extra $824.58 to complete the work you agreed to. You also had not done the work well and were informed via email of this 11/09/2023 @13:01 that the gates weren't right, you left my concrete on the wet ground and ruined it, and then charged me for materials that came with the fencing. On 11/28/2023 @ 14:20 you then replied: "Jared I have no idea if your new personality is a result of your cancer treatment but I am done with your refusing to pay your bill.." all while refusing to fix any of the issues. You made up labor fees, delivery fees, multiple trips but all on the same day, that were not part of your written quote. There was no issue with ordering the wrong material on my end. It was all purchased from THE SAME COMPANY you purchased it from back in 2019 when you did the original fence for $17,000. Fence Center Active Yards Home Dogwood SAND.

After a few weeks of talking with Cyndi, I decided to have J2W complete my fence installation on my new build house. They came highly recommended and had done multiple in my community before so she assured me she was very familiar with the layout and process. On 2/19 we had our fence installed and It looked really good. We assumed there was no issues. Scott said if we had any problems give him a call but it was all good and complete. We paid in full. Yesterday, as I was throwing some trash out and my sprinkler system was on I noticed water spewing from a corner underneath a portion of the fence. Upon inspection, I noticed an irrigation line was cut and there was some sort of plastic wrap or bag over one side of the line as seen in the picture. In the fine print it does say the owner bares responsibility for any lines that are cut during instillation. The issues I have is there was notification of damage to me at any point, and the what seems to be concealment of the problem. After emailing cyndi, she then advised they were aware of a broken line and attempted a temporary repair at a "courtesy" and that there was no way their guys tried to conceal it with plastic (I certainly didn't put it there) Overall, I am very disappointed with how this was handled and I believe this is not only a breach of good faith but also concealment.
