Gasparilla Glass provided spectacular service. We ordered shower doors and they are beautiful. Owners contacted us day after we inquired online. Had quote next day. Great business to work with. Will be highly recommending to friends and neighbors.

Our shower door shattered so we stopped into Gasparilla Glass to get information on replacing it. Dustin sent the tech by who measured and within one day we received the quote. We moved forward by paying half down as a deposit. Within 10 days our door was ready and installed. Great company to work with!

I needed 6 pieces of glass for shelves for a cabinet. I got price quotes from 4 local glass shops in Port Charlotte ranging from $240 to $453. Gasparilla Glass was $240. Dustin was very helpful on the phone, and he quickly sent me an email quote and a link to place the order. Couldn't have been easier! I did other projects that required glass about 5-years ago and I used Gasparilla then, also, but I don't recall my shopping efforts at that time.
The best time to reach out is once the tiling is complete. This allows us to ensure accurate measurements for the glass manufacturing process. However, if you're seeking budget pricing and design ideas, feel free to contact us beforehand for personalized assistance and guidance.
What is your normal process for a new shower?
Our process begins with a visit to take precise measurements and determine the optimal configuration for your shower. Following this, we provide you with an accurate price estimate. Upon your decision to proceed, we request a 50% deposit. Once received, we proceed to order the custom glass. Finally, we'll reach out to you once your new shower glass is ready to schedule the installation date.
Can you remove my old shower and re-install it once I have remodeled my bathroom?
Unfortunately, we're unable to reinstall your old shower due to the fine tolerances of glass manufacturing. Any changes in tiling during remodeling will alter the dimensions, rendering the existing glass unusable.
What is the difference between your showers and big box store showers?
Our showers stand out for being custom-designed and manufactured to fit your unique shower dimensions precisely. We use the highest quality of materials, including certified 3/8" or 1/2" thick tempered glass, ensuring durability and safety unmatched by generic options found in big box stores.
Are frameless shower doors 100% waterproof?
While frameless shower doors offer a sleek aesthetic, they are water-resistant rather than waterproof. Fixed glass panels are sealed with high-quality, mildew-resistant silicone, negating leakage. However, direct water spray around the door area may lead to some leakage. We design our shower configurations to minimize or eliminate any potential leaks.
How do you care for a frameless shower door?
To maintain a spotless shower door, we recommend squeegeeing it after each use. Additionally, due to Florida's harsh water conditions, we highly recommend opting in for our Diamon-Fusion sealer to keep your glass sparkling for years to come.
When is the best time to contact Gasparilla Glass about a new shower?
Contact Gasparilla Glass once your tiling is complete for accurate glass measurements, or earlier if you need budget pricing and design ideas.
What is the process for getting a new custom shower from Gasparilla Glass?
The process includes a visit to measure and configure your shower, receiving a price estimate, paying a 50% deposit to order custom glass, and scheduling installation once the glass is ready.
Can Gasparilla Glass remove and reinstall my old shower glass after remodeling?
No, due to precise glass manufacturing tolerances, old shower glass cannot be reinstalled if tiling or dimensions change during remodeling.
How do Gasparilla Glass showers differ from those at big box stores?
Gasparilla Glass offers custom-designed showers with certified 3/8" or 1/2" thick tempered glass for durability and exact fit, unlike generic big box store options.
Are frameless shower doors from Gasparilla Glass completely waterproof?
They are water-resistant, not 100% waterproof. Fixed glass panels use mildew-resistant silicone, but water spray near doors may cause some leakage. Designs minimize this issue.
How should I care for my frameless shower door?
Squeegee after each use and consider Gasparilla Glass's Diamon-Fusion sealer to protect glass against Florida's harsh water conditions for long-lasting clarity.
