- RSRandy SanderlinSep 13, 20181.0We were told 2 1/2 months for permitting, a week later they start the job, no permitts, no drawing for the crew doing the work. I have no problem with the work done but I believe they lied about permits, did not receive permit for four months after completion. Then I went to the county the day after the permit was posted, and low and behold final inspection was done. I was told by Jessica at the building department that the inspector may have come by boat, I say in possible because we have two dogs that would have barked up a storm had a boat came near. I believe that charlotte seawalls has a inspector in there pocket and probably not just on this job as no one ever inspected there work. I would not ever recommend Charlotte County Seawall to anyone because of this.
