- NGNate GatesDec 7, 20201.0I’m a general contractor and I bought a lot of materials fixtures and appliances from Ferguson over the years. I don’t deal with FergusonWaterworks too terribly much but when I do it’s usually for drainage products that I need for one of my jobs. I called today to ask for some NDS drain products and told him I had a certain linear footage and the guy on the phone told me, “yeah that’s not really our thing. I could sell it to you but that’s not what we really specialize in.” I told him I have ordered NDS products from this branch before and he says, “we sell it. But you can’t return it and you have to get the order right the first time. So it’s not something we really Like to sell.” What?! I really don’t get this! I Called to just buy some material and he says they sell it but he doesn’t want to sell this material. Go figure. Really lousy attitude.
