We just had our septic tank pumped out for the first time and septic solution took great care of us. Daryl Anderson was our tech and he was very knowledgeable, he went above and beyond to make sure our tank was clean and empty before he closed it up. Request Daryl, he and septic solutions will take care of you. Don’t go with that company offering 325. It’s a waste of time scam just give septic solutions a call and ask for Daryl, that’s all.

Frequently Asked Questions About Septic Solutions Environmental, Inc.
How long does a septic tank installation take?
A typical septic tank installation takes 2-5 days, depending on soil conditions, system complexity, and weather. Simple gravity systems in favorable conditions may be completed in 2-3 days, while advanced treatment systems or challenging soil conditions may require up to a week.
What size septic tank do I need for my home?
Tank size depends on your household size and daily water usage. Generally:
1-2 bedrooms: 750-900 gallons
3 bedrooms: 1,000 gallons
4 bedrooms: 1,200 gallons
5+ bedrooms: 1,500+ gallons
We'll conduct a site evaluation to determine the exact size based on your specific needs and local regulations.
How often should I have my septic tank inspected?
We recommend annual inspections to catch potential problems early. During inspections, we check sludge and scum levels, examine baffles and filters, test pumps (if applicable), and assess overall system health.
What does septic maintenance include?
Our maintenance services include:
Visual inspection of all system components
Measuring sludge and scum layers
Checking and cleaning effluent filters
Testing pump operations and alarms
Inspecting baffles and tank integrity
Providing maintenance recommendations
Updating service records
How can I tell if my septic system needs maintenance?
Warning signs include:
Slow draining fixtures
Sewage odors inside or outside
Gurgling sounds in plumbing
Water backing up in drains
Lush grass over the drain field
Standing water near the system
Can drain fields be repaired or do they need replacement?
Many drain field issues can be repaired without full replacement. Common repairs include:
Cleaning clogged distribution boxes
Replacing damaged pipes
Installing risers for better access
Repairing broken or shifted pipes
Addressing minor settling issues
Complete replacement is only necessary when the soil is permanently damaged or the system is severely undersized.

Household size
Tank size
Water usage habits
Type of waste disposed
We can help you determine the optimal pumping schedule during your first service.
How do I know when my tank needs pumping?
Schedule pumping based on time intervals rather than waiting for problems. However, urgent pumping may be needed if you experience:
Sewage backups in the house
Strong odors from drains
Slow draining throughout the home
Gurgling sounds in plumbing
Can I pump my own septic tank?
We strongly recommend professional pumping. DIY pumping risks:
