Whitt’s Septic was amazing! I called (at night during a horrible storm) because my toilets were bubbling and my shower was backing up! My septic system has always been maintained by them but this was an emergency! I understood they couldn’t come right then but they made sure to put me first on the list the very next morning. Turned out my pump had stopped working at some point and the alarm didn’t sound because the pump tripped the electrical panel. I was obviously worried about the cost but it wasn’t as bad as I thought for all the work they did! And all right then and there! No waiting for electrical, parts or passing it off onto someone else. I couldn’t be happier with the prompt and caring attention while I was in full on panic mode. Highly recommend! Wonderful customer service and staff!

Whitt's Septic came to pump my septic tank. Their trucks tank was 1/2 full on arrival. They were not able to completely pump my tank. They advised they would have to charge extra to come back to finish the job on another day. Granted my tank was packed and extra water was added to pump it. But I shouldn't be charged for a 2nd service. I do expect to pay for the additional gallons pumped but I asked for an estimate on 2nd service and they told me it was hard to tell. I was told by someone else that was there that there was about 6" left in the tank. But of course we would be adding water to it over the next day or two. So even more effluent would need to be pumped. They suggested "I wait 3 or 6 months and call them back. That way what is in the tank will soften." However I have to ask why the 6" of effluent needs to soften when most of the tank that was emptied had the same consistency. Overall a disappointing experience. Meanwhile since they suggest i call back in 3 or 6 months that means they won't fill the gaping hole in my back yard.
