If there was a way to give them zero stars, I would. We had three rooms changed from carpet to tile. They sent out an estimator to measure. He pulled up some areas of the carpet to make sure it wasn’t wet. The rooms are first floor. When they came to remove the carpet and install the tile, they said there was an issue. They said they didn’t realize there was a wood subfloor under the carpet. When I asked them how they didn’t know, since their estimator pulled up the carpeting to check for moisture, they had no answer. Bottom line, the subfloor would have to be removed and they were going to have to float the new floor, and it was going to cost a lot more. Once they had removed the carpet, there was another issue. There was some black mold between the carpet pad and the wood subfloor. That was our first work stoppage. After getting a mold treatment company to remove the wood subflooring, we found no mold under the subflooring. It was only between the subflooring and the carpet pad. This told me that the pad was trapping moisture. When I spoke to our project manager about what was going on, he stated that the wrong pad must’ve been installed when the carpet was done. The installers came back and installed the tile. Overall, they did a fine job, with one exception, which we didn’t realize until a couple days after they finished. The installers were using an outlet in the garage, shared by our outdoor refrigerator. No big deal right? Well, a couple days after they left, my Wife went out to get something out of the outdoor refrigerator and was met by a disgusting smell when she opened it. Turns out, the breaker had been tripped and everything in the refrigerator and freezer had spoiled! I tried cleaning it three times but finally ended up replacing the refrigerator. I reached out to Capital about it as well as to talk about the mold under the carpet pad. You see, THEY were the ones who installed the carpet! In my opinion, they installed carpet padding that was wrong for our location, south Florida, waterfront property, which caused the mold. That cost me a couple thousand dollars in mold mitigation. Then the fact that their installer obviously tripped the breaker in the garage but never told us, which cost me another thousand dollars. Guess what Capital Carpet did for us…NOTHING. Besides the job taking weeks instead of days, it also cost me thousands more, and a ton of inconvenience. Do you think the company that prides themselves on calling you after the job to make sure you’re happy, would want to accept any kind of blame? Absolutely not. You’ve been warned.

The installers did a fantastic job. They arrived on schedule and worked very efficiently to recarpet two bedrooms. They were careful in moving the furniture out of the way and back into place, and the workmanship was high quality. Strong recommend!

I bought Hunter Douglas white blinds for two windows. They were expensive but I wanted quality blinds. The finishing was so poor with rough edges that they had to be remade more than once. It took months to get them. They’re still not perfect but it seems this is the best I’ll get. I asked for some consideration based on the time, inconvenience, and imperfections but I’ve heard nothing. I would still like some better resolution.

We recently had our office flooring renovated with tiles that look like wood, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The quality of the tiles is top-notch, and the installation was done quickly and efficiently. The team was professional, friendly, and really paid attention to every detail. The transformation is amazing—the flooring looks beautiful and feels durable, all while giving our office a modern, sleek look. We were impressed with how fast they completed the job without sacrificing quality. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking for reliable and high-quality flooring services. Very pleased with the final result!
