- CRC RSep 24, 20251.0My issue with Stanley Martin is the lender they are partnered with First Heritage. Blake Bocci and his team have been completely unprofessional and uncaring this entire process. They tried to inflate our interest rate so we'd have to pay them more to buy the rate down. Their demeanor is horrible and they talk to us like we are not clients getting ready for one of the biggest purchases of our lives. The underwriters ignore our emails. We are first time home buyers and they have made this process so miserable we are considering not buying this home at all and Stanley Martin can keep our 5k deposit. This was supposed to be fun and exciting and First Heritage has ruined that for us.

I made a payment for [deposit], but due to cancellation, contract terms not met, etc., I was supposed to receive a refund. Despite multiple follow-ups, emails, and phone calls, I have yet to receive my money back. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable, and I expected a much more professional approach from a real estate company. I would caution anyone considering doing business with them to be extremely careful, especially when it comes to financial transactions. I hope they take responsibility and resolve this matter, but as of now, I cannot recommend their services.
