  Not that the I do not appreciate that the job was done, but the charge of $764 for a one hour and 15 minutes is ridiculous. They have changed the way they charge, apparently. No longer by hour, but the job. He replaced two valves for washer ns dryer and a section of a pipe outside. On top of that, the job had been scheduled for Tuesday, between 10 and 12, no show. After I called, they told me he went home sick. Today, he was scheduled between 10 and 12, did not show up until 2pm. Just a warning: before you book the company, make sure you find out the exact cost of the job you need done. Apparently, they only do flat rates for the job. Something that was not clarified when I hired them, and this was not the way it was before and I certainly do not recommend them nor will I ever use them again.

  I was overcharged for an un-necessary part. I had a GFI that seemed to trip when my hot water circulating pump was on. I called PS plumbing to come out and evaluate / repair. (PS plumbing no longer owned or operated by Paul Stein). I thought they might test the pump to see if it was bad, but they just replaced it. 45 minutes after they left --boom; GFI tripped and I knew – Nothing was wrong with my 7-year-old Grundfos pump; it was a bad GFI. I checked to see what that pump costs; Identical part and part number; $326 retail from a local store in Naples. It was a 30-minute labor install. The Bill for that was $875 for a part that was not needed! I called PS plumbing and asked to speak to the GM. I asked why I was billed $875 for 30 minutes labor on a $326 pump? His attitude was terse and recalcitrant, insisting he had “to mark it up to make a profit”. No mention of wanting a satisfied customer, let alone charging a fair price. I paid the exorbitant bill; will not use again.

  Luis was very friendly and respectful. He was approcable and eager to be of assisstance. I felt I was getting an honest appraisal of the problem and I was impressed that he was going to arrange an installation the next day.

  Ryan was very efficient. He told me the options in types of faucets and he let the decision up to me. I am very satisfied with my choice and Ryan did an excellent job on the installation. There was no mess involved.

  We contacted Paul Stein to deal with some issues after a home inspection. They responded quickly- and came out within 2 days. The pro discussed options, fixed issues, and diligently and efficiently dealt with some challenges of our 45 year old home. I will call Paul Stein for all of our Plumbing needs. William Cabeza provided amazing service in a kind, efficient, and professional way! We highly recommend Paul Stein and their staff.
