- JCJoseph Couture3 days ago1.0I would like to share a complaint. The technician attempted to charge me 400 dollars for a roughly 40 part (breaker switch). He stated he could not diagnose the issue until the breaker was replaced, and at the time, it was dark so a return visit was required. I also paid the $79 diagnosis fee. Once he replaced the breaker switch, he stated that it was the compressor causing the issue and it would be $5000. I said I would need to discuss with the spouse. Meanwhile, I had another technician preform the repair, a breaker switch was not needed and the compressor was not the issue, it was the fan motor. I essentially saved roughly 5400 by using another provider and paid less than 7.5% of what Air Rescue was asking OTD. I'm quite disappointed as I've trusted them before and wonder now how much money I lost following their advice in the past. Now I'm 79 dollars short for nothing.

- TSTerri SmithMar 14, 20261.0The service appeared to be ok. The technician stated there was a refrigerant leak and that the refrigerant level was low. To check for the leak dye would need to be added to the system at a cost of $550. With the system now out of warranty and just over 10 years old, he recommended a new system. Air Rescue has been recommending a new system for over 2 years. A second opinion the next day showed the refrigerant level was fine and that there was no leak. The Air Rescue report provided to the owner confirmed that the refrigerant level was good contrary to what the technician told the owner. Air Rescue is only interested in selling unnecessary services and unneeded equipment. I would not recommend this company.
