  We have had Williford out twice now to repair broken boards in our historic home. They always preface by saying that they are not able to guarantee a match in color due to age, but they get as close as they possibly can! They do amazing work, Loretta and team are very kind and easy to work with. We will continue to use Williford with our 100+ year old floors. They are always timely, appropriately priced and professional. Definitely recommend- especially with those with historic floors.

  They Refuse to give a written quote for my floors, was told that they are way higher than my other quote.Leading me a long for 4 weeks, after several phone calls and excuses why I haven't received my quote. A simple we're not interested would have been a better and more professional route.Which would allow me to get on another companies schedule sooner.

  Sadly, one of my worst professional experiences ever. During the closing transaction on our home, the seller’s son contracted Wilford to refinish the floors. Throughout the process they delayed the start numerous times, left emails unanswered and didn’t return calls from us about time frames, as the flooring was one delay of closing. Upon closing, we noticed they hadn’t fully sanded the floors to remove the old finish near the baseboards, leaving obvious final mismatches (In some areas as large as an 8 in gap from the molding). Furthermore, they sealed shut the only access to the crawl space beneath the house for access to our plumbing, HVAC and electric. When we asked them to come and look at their work and to please rectify the situation, we were at first ignored, then finally received a curt response that their work met the contract. I have never worked with a company, small or large, with worse customer service. I had hoped that by virtue of being a small, local business, we could have worked to find an amicable solution, but they have had no interest in even meeting us in the middle. Terribly disappointing start, to a new life in our dream home.

  All the great word-of-mouth you've heard about Williford Flooring is absolutely true! Don't use anyone else for refinishing or installing wood floors. They are the best!
