  This place took over Alexander Air and ever since it has been an absolutely horrible customer service experience. First, they made me jump through hoops and hurdles just to get someone to come check out an A/C unit under warranty. I had a water restoration company tell me that the A/C unit was not the correct sized unit for the home and air was not flowing through properly- leading to humidity, so, naturally - I ask the company that installed it to come out to inspect what was going on since it was still under warranty. Not only was that a hassle to just get that appointment - but when the first tech came out, he looked at the unit for FIVE seconds and then left. When I asked a different tech to come out, they told me it was not the A/C unit but the air duct system that needed to be entirely replaced due to it's age, and that's why air was not circulating through the home. So, I ask them for a quote. He tells me a a qualified estimator will come out the next day. So they do, the guy calls me and confirms the ducts will need to be replaced and he will send the quote via email and get back to me. Radio silence. I call them back after two days to see maybe if the email address they had was incorrect - and nope! They tell me they simply are not interested in the job. I ask for more clarification- like are they not qualified to do the work, is it the work too complex, is it due to a lack of supplies, etc - nothing. There was no good answer. They said I could get a 'free' estimate from another company for the work. Why would I do that when I just paid YOU the $89????? Not only did they waste my time, and take my $89 for an appointment fee- they couldn't help me and did not follow up in a timely manner with any explanation. I had to follow up with them. This is the absolute worst A/C company I have ever used and I will not be giving them a DIME in the future and you should not either. The only good thing I have to say is that the 2nd young tech who came out was at least competent enough to figure out what was happening and be straight-forward about it, that is the most helpful that these people have been.

  We recently called Speedy Tech because we thought we were calling Alexander Air. However Speedy Tech had bought the company. We had them out for a clogged condensate drain. After 2 hours of no remedy, but lots of calls back to the company and offering long term changes like a pump remedy over $2,000, blue light, etc. we told them we wanted the clog cleared and a new float switch. The tech said he would have to call as they might not want him to do it. We stated that was all we wanted. He came back with $89 for the service fee plus $149 for the drain clean and $400 for the switch. We paid the $89 and told him we would have another company remedy the clog. We felt like we were at a used car sales presentation trying to upsell us because our unit is 10 years old. He named every potential problem that could happen and need fixed. It was a waste of time. I feel for a senior citizen that is told these things and feels that all this must be done!!!
