  They did a wonderful job! The Mohawk laminate floors are absolutely beautiful, and the attention to detail was amazing. It’s not easy living in a home under demo while also working from home, but Fabio, Adobo, and their crew made the experience so much better. Fabio was respectful, open to questions, and made sure I never felt uncomfortable—even working side by side in a small house with a lot going on. In the evenings, he ensured essentials like my refrigerator and oven were put back so I could use them if needed. They even vacuumed thoroughly before leaving each day, which made it feel safe for me and my children. I also want to give props to Bryant, the supervisor, who was incredibly informative and explained the moisture barrier issue and its impact on the existing hardwood floors. He also took the time to talk through potential new projects and remained connected through text as needed. Thank you, too, to Rick, owner of About Floors n More who operated as our salesperson. This gentleman has excellent customer service, communication and a great sense of humor. I appreciated everyone’s professionalism and care throughout the process. Highly recommend this team!

  I have used About Floors n More for several projects. This time it was to retile my master bath shower area (it's a 70's house, so it's a separate room with the shower & a toilet and a pocket door separates it from the same sized room with the double sinks). Kathy helped me select the tile. I've had a knee replacement and I really wanted to make sure that the tile on the floor of the shower was non-slip. I am so happy with what I selected! They are small hexagonal tiles and every 3-4 tiles, the tile has an extra rough surface. Highly recommend these! The wall tiles are beautiful. My only mistake was not having them measure (and trusting my installer). Had we done that, I wouldn't have had to order more tile twice and I would have (maybe) picked a tile that had a smaller tile in the "family" suitable for the ceiling (my installer had to cut the large wall tiles down to place them on the ceiling). It took longer than it should have (given the wait times for the additional tile). However, I am very happy with the result.

  We hired About Floors n' More in Jacksonville, Florida to remove our tile and carpet and install LVP throughout our condo. We were unhappy with a number of things including but not limited to their contractor damaging the drywall to the point much wider baseboards had to be installed to cover the damage throughout the entire unit. One of our contractors pulled back the flooring and told us there was a vapor barrier but no sound barrier as required by our HOA, requested by us, and on our invoice, and then most annoying, this sound is throughout the condo and very loud even when walking in socks "quietly". We've been told by other contractors it was likely because the floors were not properly swept and prepped ahead of time. We have photos showing chunks of debris all around the cabinets that should have been swept up. We complained to About Floors n More and did not pay them the remainder. Their response was to file a lawsuit (we've already paid them close to 50%). We will let a judge decide if what is in this video as well as our extensive photos are acceptable or not but we wanted other consumers considering them to know that they believe this is acceptable and instead of working to remedy it, sued us to pay them for work we don't believe was done correctly nor fully. Attached photos include: toilet left in shower as we were ready to move in. One of dozens of documented images of drywall damage from failing to score the drywall. The new baseboards instantly popping off the wall. The trim that was in tact prior to their arrival and not afterwards. Editing to add a photo and note we pulled back additional flooring and see the adhesive strip was never pulled off which is probably another big reason we are having so many issues with sound/crackling. How can someone be so incompetent as to not even take a second to pull off the adhesive? In doing so we also confirmed that in yet another location, the floor is not level underneath and has a lot of unswept debris. Also the owner did *not* make any attempt to remedy the situation. Instead they gave us bogus excuse after bogus excuse for why the crackling was happening in the first place. Looking forward to our court date.
