- MBMariel BarteJun 25, 20252.0I was in the process of buying a house and i hired At Your Service LLC to fix all of the electrical issues that came up on our home inspection which we needed done in order to get home insurance and secure our mortgage loan before closing. Tony and Grant were very nice, but overall they were very disorganized and had poor communication throughout my experience. For example, they gave me a 3 hour window for arrival and then called me toward the end of that window and told me they can’t come for another 3 hours. 10 minutes later, I find out that they’re in the house with the seller so I had to race over there (turns out they called the wrong person). After they were done, 2 of the outlets they replaced stopped working. They charged me for 2 electricians working for 3.5 hours but 30 minutes of that was them sitting in the van putting together the invoice. The labor rate that they charged me was different from what i was quoted. Also the lady that normally answers their calls was out of town so Tony had to keep taking calls while he was working so I don’t feel like the pricing was fair for the work that was done. It took 3 days to get the invoice despite them telling me it would be the same day the work was done. And then they said they had to come back to finish and wrote that on the invoice so my home inspector wouldn’t clear us. When i called to schedule for them to return, it took them 4 days to call me back. During that time I had already hired another electrician who finished everything and gotten the inspection cleared. Long story short, I almost lost my mortgage rate because of this company which would have cost me thousands of dollars so overall I would not rehire.
