- KMKathleen McKeeNov 23, 20195.0I just had a metal roof installed on my home last week, and a huge crew of workers and trucks came to my house to begin the removal of the shingle roof. I had areas of rot, and knew I would need a lot of plywood replaced. The crew was professional, efficient and friendly. It is a family business. They were careful to put all waste directly into a dump truck instead of pushing it onto the ground. They were careful not to damage my trees. I went on the roof at least 4 times and they were happy to show me the rot they were finding and how they would fix the roof so it would no longer leak. They had a few crew who were continually picking up litter that fell off the roof over the 2 days it took to install the whole roof. They repaired some fascia that had rotted and installed some soffit ventilation at no extra charge. Everyone including the owner Melvin was polite. At the end the roof looked perfect. They left the site clean and roof finished in less than 3 days. They don't answer calls the next day, but they are in demand, I think... With a roof, it's worth some patience to get this company.
