I have been using Mid-FLA about 17 years and never have been disappointed. I had a great crew Colten, Shane, Fernando, Josh and Anthony. They arrived early and worked hard all day. New AC, water heater, platform, vents and ducts cleaned and Aerosealed. They were polite and cleaned up everything. I highly recommend them.

The technician-Anthony -arrived at scheduled time, worked non-stop, explained what he was doing, showed us photos of damage to our ductwork and cleaned up impeccably afterwards. He did a great job.

Mid Florida installed a new Daikin air conditioning system at my home in January 2026. The system hasn't been running correctly since installation. They replaced the outside unit and the evaporator coil in the air handler, control board. Installed new copper tubing, thermostat wiring. The system will run for 2 days then shuts off due to sensor error. Which requires system reset. The technicians have been great that all have said the unit should be totally replaced with another brand. But the company doesn't appear to listen to them. I have had Mid Florida for several years and have been totally satisfied with their work but not to happy with them now. I have tried to contact the company several times and all I get is we will get back with you. All I want is a system that works and cools my house.
Mid-Fla used to be a quality company. Not anymore. A new owner has changed everything. Since technicians are now paid by the job rather than by the hour all the quality technicians have left. What shows up now are technicians that have little qualifying education and little experience. Add to this the fact that Mid-Fla now skimps and cheats regarding money.
I have been a client since 2012. In October 2024 I bought a new AC and was given a choice of accompanying benefit plans. I chose “Deluxe Seer2” (which is not the best nor the worst plan) and was given a copy of Deluxe Seer2. Included were 2 Yrs Gold Club Membership, Surge Protection, Duct Cleaning, Aeroseal Duck Sealing, 10 Yr all parts, 2 Yr labor guarantee, 10 Yr Compressor, among other things. Not one of these benefits has been honored. Worse, I inadvertently paid in February 2025 $149 for 1 year Gold Club and $324 for a Surge Suppressor. One old-time supervisor recognized the fact and their larger obligations but those in charge have simply refused to refund or carry out their larger obligations.
In checking my records, which are detailed and go back to 2012, I discovered that unlike elsewhere I have no follow up Mid-Fla record (normally emailed) of the October 2024 sale of the new AC—only my check for $12,000 and a copy of the benefit plan. Whether this was due to the newfound sloppiness or, more likely, was deliberate, the effect is the same--a way not to honor contractual obligations.
Do not deal with Mid-Fla!
