  Working with Brandon Ambrose from Gulf Shore Cooling was an excellent experience from start to finish. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to clearly explain what was going on with our system without making it feel overwhelming. It’s rare to find someone who is both honest and genuinely focused on helping rather than just making a quick sale, but Brandon definitely stands out in that way. He showed up on time, was respectful of our home, and worked efficiently while still being thorough. If you’re looking for someone reliable and trustworthy in the HVAC space, I would absolutely recommend Brandon and Gulf Shore Cooling. It made what could have been a stressful situation feel easy and handled with care.

  I rarely write reviews like this, but my experience with Gulf Shore Cooling has been beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable. For a system that’s only two years old and supposedly maintained regularly, this is unacceptable, we are taking our business elsewhere. First of all, I am a paying customer on their monthly service membership plan. We pay every single month specifically so our AC system is maintained, checked, and to avoid exactly this kind of situation. They performed a service check on all of our AC units recently in February 2026, yet just one month later March 2026, the air conditioning completely stopped working. That alone raises serious concerns about the quality and thoroughness of their maintenance. It gets worse. I had to rearrange my entire day and stay home to wait for a technician. When he finally arrived, I explained everything in detail and even provided recordings of the unit making very loud, abnormal noises. Despite that, he dismissed the issue and claimed it only needed a simple reset the breaker. TWO DAYS later, the AC stopped working again. Same issue, not fixed. So clearly the diagnosis was wrong and the repair was ineffective. Now, after all of this, they are trying to charge me a $139 “emergency” service fee to come back and address a problem they failed to fix in the first place. Meanwhile, they offer a “free” visit the next day, but that would require me, once again, to take time off work and sit at home waiting. So I’m basically being forced to choose between losing more of my time or paying extra money for their mistake. Let me summarize: • I pay monthly for their service membership • They inspected the unit recently • One month later, the AC completely fails • They misdiagnosed and failed to fix the issue • Now they want to charge me $139 to come back This is a complete lack of accountability and professionalism. What exactly am I paying for every month if not reliable maintenance and proper service? Please don’t respond with “we can’t find you as a client, please call or email us.” I already did, and your customer service was completely ineffective. The representative was unable to properly handle a frustrated customer (understandably frustrated, given the situation), and instead of resolving anything, when I refused to pay 139 NONSENSE FEE, I was told I was GIVEN a “discount” on an emergency appointment - BECAUSE I PAY MY SUBSCRIPTION, DAAA???, so I OLNY have to pay $139 instead of $199. THANK YOUR FOR YOUR MERCY, HOW UNGRATEFUL OF ME ;) Your customer service seemed very upset that I was speaking over her, despite the fact that she was taking 30–40 second pauses between sentences and I am boiling at my home because my AC STOP WORKING? AGAIN WITHIN 2 days and wasted time?!?! In March??? What is going to happen in the summer with AGAIN 2 years old unit? The whole interaction felt completely unprofessional. What a joke. What exactly is that supposed to fix? Because it certainly doesn’t address the fact that your team failed to diagnose and repair the issue correctly in the first place. This kind of response is not customer service, it’s deflection. If you value your time, money, and basic reliability - stay away from Gulf Shore Cooling!

  Called on a Sunday morning. They had someone come out and was here within an hour of calling. Austin gave an honest diagnosis and reasonable cost. Did not feel he rushed the job or was trying to make a commission. We have made a choice to switch to Gulfshore Cooling this summer and hopefully this will be our company permanently.
