  We were thoroughly impressed with Sunrise Remodeling, having recently completed a comprehensive renovation of our kitchen, butler's pantry, and banquet, which included custom cabinets in a custom color and specialty pull-outs in every cabinet. The project was completed efficiently and within the expected timeframe, largely due to the exceptional efforts of Eric, our project manager, who prioritized our satisfaction throughout the process.

  Working with sunrise was the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. And I retired from a large commercial construction company! Sunrise failed to meet every start date and project mile stone they promised. Original start date was as September 12, 2022 actual start date December 10, 2022. Contract date was May 11,2022. With a promised start date of September 12,2022 we had already waited 4 months for the project to start! We returned to Florida December 152022 with no kitchen cabinets, no kitchen countertop sink or faucet, no master bathroom and everything covered in dust and dirt. Project was never finished as Brian Dunn elected to default in late March 2023 versus complete the project. We were left with unfinished drywall, unfinished cabinets, warped cabinet doors, unfinished lanai tile, unfinished master closet, missing baseboard in the master bedroom, broken lamps, and everything still covered in dirt and dust, just to name a few items. Brian Dunn is the epitome of a dishonest contractor who over promises and under delivers. If you are considering hiring sunrise remodeling you should be prepared to spend countless hours calling and emailing and following up to try to get anything done. The work quality on the cabinet doors is horrible. In six months the seams have separated and the paint is peeling. We spent over $60k not including all the materials we purchased for a complete condo remodel ( full kitchen, all new interior and lanai floors, two bathrooms, painting, interior door replacements, two new master bedroom closets) and we are left with more issues than we started with. And the project is still not finished. I urge you to seek other contractors if you want to avoid the headaches and frustrations we experienced for OVER a year trying to work with Brian Dunn and sunrise remodeling. In response to Brian Dunn’ response: there was not a functional kitchen. I was at the condo when the countertops and sink were installed. The punch list was never changed . It was the original punch list all the time. See attached pictures. Of course, per our original experience sunrise remodeling is lying again.   The fifth time that I have used Sunrise because the dependability and quality of work has always surpassed my expectation. There are stories of contractors not showing up and doing sub par work, but not these guys. Have gutted bathrooms, kitchens, reconfigured rooms all perfect. Even better, they keep the wife happy by cleaning up their toys. All tools and equipment are packed up and put away until the next day. Describe what you want and they will provide, often with a suggestion that will improve your vision. Sunrise is a real company, not a scammer handyman with a lowball price.
