  After touring brand new homes with 8 other builders in DeLand, I finally found Richmond American Homes. From the first visit, I could tell Whitney genuinely wanted me to be happy with my home and home buying experience. She is hands down the best in the business. Not only was she communicative, knowledgeable, kind, sincere, and trustworthy, she also made closing day special for my family and I by helping us stage a "rental tour" for our kids to surprise them with their new home. She truly goes above and beyond! On another note, when we had with our walk-through there were some things we were less than happy with and expressed those things to Whitney. Soon after, we received a call from John who also showed the same level of care and sincerity Whitney does. He was instrumental in getting us to the closing table and you can tell he genuinely wants you to be happy with your new home. Even after we closed he was available when we had questions and he was always kind and patient. I also want to mention Mike and Liz at Home American Mortgage (Richmond American preferred lender), as they made the mortgage process seamless. Both of them were always available for my (many) questions as a first-time home buyer, which is very important because it can be unnerving making a huge purchase for the first time. Mike was so patient and worked to get us into the best financial situation available to us. Liz was also helpful in getting us to the closing table by reaching out to other parties to get our title/closing questions answered. Lastly, I want to mention Evan in the warranty department. He has been so patient and kind with our (many) questions. Not only that, but he gets the job done. When he came out for our 30 day warranty review you could tell he wanted to get our questions answered and address the few minor items that need attention, as evidenced by the contractors promptly sending emails to get appointments scheduled. Overall, the experience I had was exceptional, having been to 8 other builders and had 3 other contracts cancelled due to issues with the builders - Richmond American Homes is the best in the area. My wife was my buyer's agent (realtor) on this home purchase and she has told me she is looking forward to closing many more homes with Whitney because of our exceptional experience with her and those mentioned above. I can tell you from a home buyer perspective and from a realtor perspective you will not be disappointed.

  Whitney made our visit a wonderful experience! We were able to call her for directions, and she guided us right to the community. She was a delight to talk to and provided all the information we needed. Although this particular location wasn’t quite what we were looking for, if we ever decide to purchase a Richmond American home, it will definitely be with Whitney Hall. Thank you again, Whitney — five stars all the way across the board!

  Hello, I wanted to share my experience with Richmond Homes at Grandview Gardens in DeLand, FL. Our agent agent Whitney was amazing literally a 10/10! We drove from West Palm Beach to see the homes and she took the time to show us all of the available homes and was incredibly knowledgeable about the products. She answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. We haven’t purchased yet but,I have toured other properties and my experience was not the same. I needed to give praise where praise was due and thank her publicly for the effort she made to help us as we navigate this process.
