  I had planned to write a positive review about Astrada and its technician, Devona, after his visit on April 10th. He performed an AC unit maintenance and installed a UV light. Everything went well — he was friendly and knowledgeable — until I found out that he took the UV light device’s box, which I need to get the information to register the device. The problem started when I called Astrada customer service the next day, Saturday, April 11th. I explained the situation to Juan, who told me someone would contact me on Monday. Later that same Saturday, I also sent a text message explaining what happened. Someone texted me back, saying they had contacted the technician’s manager and that someone would reach out on Monday. But no one contacted me on Monday, Or Tuesday, Or Wednesday or Thursday. This is very upsetting, frustrating, unprofessional and unacceptable.

  The Strada Service team who installed the new HVAC system in my house were extremely diligent and professional. I am very grateful and pleased with their work ethic and expertise. Thank you very much for your care and attention.

  I would not recommend Strada based on my recent experience. While I was out of town, my air conditioner stopped working. My son called the company listed on the unit, which was the original installer (now owned by Strada). My system is only 7 years into a 10-year warranty, so we expected a service call and repair quote of a reasonable amount. Instead, my son was told he needed to purchase a $250 maintenance program just to have someone come out, and the soonest appointment they would offer was a week later. While on a flight layover, I called Strada myself. After being put on hold and disconnected twice, I finally reached someone and explained that I did not want a maintenance program — I simply needed a technician to diagnose the issue and provide a repair quote. When the technician arrived, the pricing situation became very concerning. My son was told the quote alone was $400, then when parts and repair were added the quote jumped from $700, and eventually over $5,200. My son was told that the warranty only covered the inside not the outside. After the price kept increasing, they told him I would be better off replacing the entire system. All of this was being relayed to me via text while I was on a cross-country flight. I told my son to pay them for the visit and ask them to leave, which still cost me $700. Afterward, I called two other HVAC companies. Both came out promptly, did a thorough diagnosis, and didn’t charge me a dime for the quote. Both confirmed my 10-year warranty existed on the outside unit as well as inside. Each of them identified the same issue—and it wasn’t the costly problem Strada claimed. I chose a company and they fixed it for about 80% less than what Strada wanted to charge, and most importantly, I did not need a new system. This experience felt extremely misleading, overpriced, and took advantage of a young person trying to handle a repair while his parent was out of town. I would strongly encourage others to get multiple quotes before agreeing to any work with this company.

  Unit was installed professionally and with minimal disruption to our home. The installers were professional and very courteous. They did a great job. Would highly recommend. .
