  I needed a same day piece of custom cut and polished residential glass and contacted another firm in Largo, which eagerly referred me to Glass Service 8, Inc. I frequently need pieces of residential glass cut (this most recent for a new cabinet top) and I’m rarely able to get perfectly cut (down to the 1/16”) and highly polished edges on 1/4” glass. This firm took my order at 2 PM and eagerly filled it with the best piece of cut and polished glass I’ve purchased to date. My only thought to improve for this firm is that they should reveal their 3.5% markup for credit card purchases when a quote is proffered. This aside, brilliantly cut high quality craftsmen level work and product. Subsequent to this initial review, I ordered multiple pieces of customer cut and polished glass. On each occasion, the corners of the glass weren’t polished. I returned several times for appropriate polishing. When I picked up the final piece of glass, the staff member who cut and polished the glass threw his hands up in the air once the glass had been loaded in a reference of “good riddance” to me as a customer. Sad how one lazy employee with disconcerting manners for the company’s customers can discredit an entire business, but that was the case. Shop elsewhere if you desire high quality and consistent results without staff member ridicule.

  I ordered mirrors for a project at home. Glass Services had a great selection of glass and mirrors. I ordered two mirrors with beveled edges, and they arrived quickly and in good condition.
