  The before-and-after photos. I’m sure they do a good job at other things, but clothing alterations is not one of them. I was being kind with adding just the one pair that you messed up, but let me go ahead and add the other two that you messed up. Mind you , these are Good American jeans, that are pretty expensive. Shameful that you are proud of your work when it is obviously subpar. These pants were picked up July 29th around 1:20PM, and you charged $93. There was an extra $3 from that $30 each you quoted me because it was paid with a credit card. Maybe check your records again, Luisa.

  I recently had drapes and valances made by Luisa and her team. From the minute I walked into her shop, I knew I came to the right place. There are endless fabric samples to choose from and Luisa helped me pick the perfect one. She listened to me and what I wanted and then made some additional suggestions, which I really appreciated. The work was impeccable. The drapes and valances are absolutely gorgeous. I would highly recommend Luisa and her team for any of your sewing projects.

  Luisa is wonderful. She recovered our horrible lanai furniture with stain resistant, beautiful fabric! She did a very good job in a short time.

  We highly recommend Luisa, she is a master at her craft. She took my old moldy boat cushions and completely refreshed them with custom fabric. We were able to choose the fabric we wanted and provided our design concept which her and her team took and made a reality. I feel like i have a new boat again! Thanks, Luisa & Team!

  I needed some lounge chair covers replaced. Based on their good reviews, I chose Custom Sewing by Luisa. They were friendly, helpful and upfront about their timing (closing for the holidays). They looked busy, were knowledgeable and seemed to trust and work together as a team. They gave me an estimate of how much material I would need to complete the job (assuming a solid color). I brought them the material that afternoon (I bought extra because it was striped) and left them the “old” cover to use as a pattern. And I asked if there was enough, I’d like two lumbar cushions in the same sunbrella material. The next day they called to confirm the direction of the stripe. And they delivered the cushion covers two days early - with the lumbar pillows! AND with more than 5 yards of material left over (which is the amount I overbought from their estimate to handle the stripes). The Workmanship was superb! The patterns were matched perfectly! The piping was straight and uniform. The zippers were heavy duty for outside and there were NO stray strings! My Mom was an expert seamstress, so I know what to look for! These women were very very good. Clearly, they took pride in doing a job well and complete. The pricing was fair, especially for the quality produced. I will be back with many more projects for them! I own two cottages that desperately need new window treatments! A Gem!!!
