  I want to give a huge shout out and thank you to Wes Lewis and Retex Roofing Florida. A standing seam metal roof is extremely difficult to install and his guys did an unbelievable job installing my roof. I met with his guys and went up on the roof and checked their work daily and they did a flawless job. They hand cut every panel exactly to size and fit them together perfectly. They did all this without having to use one exposed fastener and therefore preventing any possible leaks. They gave me an incredible roof that will last a lifetime. And they did all this for $8K less than the other top notch roofers of North Central Florida. If you need any roof repair work or a complete replacement, whether it be metal or shingles, you will be glad you went with Wes and his team when it’s all done.

  I have lived in south west Florida for 40years, so when I discovered my new home in Gainesville would need a roof, I was mildly dismayed. Where I’m from, living with a tarp for more than a year is not unusual. But Retex Roofing was so on top of things, and would have been done even sooner if the paperwork to the home purchase was available sooner! The house looks great, the work was excellent and very speedy, and most affordable! Don’t know why more Gainesville homeowners don’t replace their older roofs sooner. Highly recommend

  Excellent work… very professional. Their roofing crews were very careful with my gardens beds around the house while working. They provided ultra-rib 26ga sheet metal (polar white) for my roof and installed ridge vents for cooling my attic. My attic is 20-25 degrees F cooler since installed. I got multiple quotes of well-known companies in Gainesville, but I would not recommend anyone else. Update: Used Retex again for a second property. Their team is growing since the last year and the new project managers are very nice.
