  DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!! Very expensive, bad customer service, not professional, poor workmanship, poor quality…. Rude and disrespectful contractors. 4 months after work was completed, cost over 40k Does not handle customers property with care. Gaslighting at its finest, they would have you believe it’s your fault that they do such shotty work. God forbid if you have an emotional response to the damage they caused your property….God forbid you ask that they not to walk through mud when you have a concrete pathway for them to walk on leading to the porch, to correct a problem they caused. Photos attached of ceiling buckling and falling down, and damage to property 4 months after completion.

  F&J Builders is a top notch contractor. We met with five other companies before deciding to use F&J to build a walk in closet over the previous open foyer. We are very pleased with the whole project. The workman ship is excellent and was done at a competitive price. Communication with the company was on going. From the owner to Amy, Dan and the subcontractors the team is very professional, friendly and flexible. We will not hesitate to use them for our next project.

  F&J did a wonderful job renovating our upstairs bathroom (yellow paint = before, green = after). They were professional, listened to what we wanted, and offered solid advice when we were stuck trying to decide on some specifics of the reno. We couldn't be happier with how the bathroom turned out. Thanks to Francis, Amy, Chris, and the rest of the team for turning this bathroom into a space that we look forward to using every day.

  I can't speak highly enough about F&J. Francis and Jenny are incredible to work with and we couldn't be happier with how our renovations came out. We had F&J update an existing guest bathroom with a new tub/shower and exhaust fan, completely overhaul our master bathroom with an expanded shower, new vanity and new soaker tub. We also had them finish a section of our basement that had been set up for a bathroom but never pursued with a full bath set up. We'd also initially planned to have them finish a section of our basement as a bedroom but as we prepared to start work, we learned our septic system needed a complete overhaul, which blew up a substantial portion of our budget. The team and F&J worked with us to get the project into our new budget and let us take on sections of the project we felt we could tackle ourselves. I'm sure they probably never want to do that again, because it certainly didn't make the job move faster, but they were incredibly patient with us and we're so happy with how everything came out. Can't recommend them highly enough.
