- DCDarrin Campo2 days ago1.0Called them to to a job on my deck. Was quoted an initial price and was then told that prep work would be “extra.” I am the son and the brother of house painters. I went on jobs with them, and NEVER did they charge “extra” for prep work. That work is part of the price. It didn’t matter anyway since they didn’t call us back for a while. When they told my wife they sent an email, she didn’t find it in any of her folders. She was then told that the email address was wrong, most likely because they transcribed it wrong. We went with another company and are satisfied with the results, especially after we got a confused look when we asked how much extra prep work would be.
