  If you're considering buying a home from Beazer—please think twice. We’ve spent four exhausting years dealing with ongoing issues that have seriously impacted our health, sleep, and quality of life. The most devastating issue has been mold toxicity, which I believe contributed to the loss of our baby. Our home has consistently high humidity (over 60%), and Beazer continues to claim that’s normal—even though it creates ideal conditions for mold growth. We’ve also had four leaks, including one from a wire rack drilled into a waste pipe, leading to mold behind the walls. Our HVAC system was never installed properly, and Beazer refuses to even look up the manufacturer’s instructions for how it should be installed. The ductwork wasn’t fastened down, and every time the system kicked on, the air cuts would pop loudly—jerking us awake night after night. I lost nearly a year of sleep over this. Despite clear installation guidance, Beazer dismissed our concerns and insisted everything was fine. There was no dedicated manager overseeing our home’s construction. When we had to cut into drywall to investigate more issues, we discovered a beer bottle sealed inside the wall—a clear sign of the lack of care or accountability from the build crew. The walls and ceilings are visibly crooked, some off by as much as half an inch. We even had to hang curtains crooked just to make them appear level. Even simple finishes were carelessly done: light switches were installed five feet high and off-center, and we were told to find our own solution. They even missed an entire bathroom during the initial build. Every time we raised these concerns, we were gaslit or dismissed. Beazer may act like they care, but we’ve seen no lasting accountability. And we’re not alone—many of our neighbors have faced similar problems and now regret buying their homes.
