They came out and said the problem was due to a manufacturer's defect and that they'd submit a warranty claim. Two weeks later, having heard nothing, I called to inquire about the status. I was told the service manager would get back to me. He never did. I waited another week and called again. Same thing: no return call. I ended up calling four times, and they never had the decency to return the call. Meanwhile, I checked with Andersen and BSD never filed a warranty claim. Go elsewhere for Andersen products if you want responsive customer service.
