  Albeit my low rating, I surprisingly enjoyed a majority of the introductory process with inquiring about solar on my property with this company, i went through some paperwork over the grant then had a ton of questions and the answers gave me more questions since on paper it looked like it would be 100% covered which clearly wasnt the case. ...where it really died out for me was how everything flipped like a switch when the 30%~ federal grant was ending and I inquired about additional electrical work that wasnt solar prior to install (an EV charger/wiring electricity to my shed) and I was told to reach out to them a month~ or so later and they were just "too busy" to deal with since that wasnt solar for the times I inquired about and they'd love to quote me the work if I waited until after the new year....Okay, sure - I waited since it wasnt some emergency for me to spend tens of thousands of dollars to them when I wasnt left certain it was a good move and I was filled with confusion on the grant/loan information aside from the high pricing. When I did finally reach back out after the new year I was told nobody is going to come out to quote me for electrical work for the times I had available (after 3pm weekdays or anything on weekends) even though that was part of the deal discussed over the month or so I was told to wait 🙄 I just cant fathom the idea of considering to give a company $15,000-$20,000+ of my hard earned money, to have it seems like my time isnt valued and I have to take days off of work in order to accommodate them when I already waited over a month to work with their schedule. Will update the review to be more detailed on other concerns and confusion when I have the time.

  Dale and his team at CMI solar are the best in Delaware, bar none! His team were able to help with all the complex processes to ensure we were able to get the best bang for our buck with state and local programs/incentives. They were a pleasure to work with and we recommend them to everyone around! If you are going solar, go CMI! You will not be dissapointed.

  CMI installed our whole home generator that ran flawlessly for over 7 years. The moment it had a problem and failed in a tropical storm, Matt the technician was literally there within 2 hours and was kind and sympathetic to our problem. He diagnosed the problem, order the part promptly, cautioning that it might be delayed due to COVID (luckily it was not). They answered my messages even after hours on the weekend and are incredibly responsive. Their work is great, their customer service impeccable - a combination which is hard to find in the contractor world. This is a family run small business with hardworking, honest folks and I recommend them to anyone!

  They are always available to answer questions as well as explain for our understanding the solar energy lingo. Lauren's knowledge is comparable to none. I don't know what we would have done without her help. All the staff is always courteous and professional.

  I have had CMI electric as our electrician for over 20 years now. They do reliable work, and they are polite, prompt and trustworthy. I was shocked to find any bad reviews on Google, because my experience with them has always been exceptional!
