We were without heat on our 2nd (main Living Area) for 16 days. ( We are thankful for our fireplace.) We were not kept informed of the issues regarding the part that had to be ordered and the delays involved in receiving this replacement part. The unit is 10 yrs old and we have replaced the heat pump, and coils for the AC all by Custom Mechanical. We have been a cuctomer since 2000 when the house was built. We felt in limbo during the sub freezing temps in the last two weeks and could do nothing but wait except for the phone calls that we made. Bottom line, We are disappointed in Custom Mechanical and their customer service to loyal customers.

Heather provided knowledgeable, insightful information in the proposal and estimate. Heather and Lynn always cheerfully answered the phone and questions and kept the project moving. Ed, Kenny and David worked hard in cold and windy conditions outside and cramped conditions in the attic. Very experienced and knowledgeable and worked to test all functions of third party thermostat. They respected our house and left the area clean. All around great job and cheaper than other quotes.

From the very beginning, they gave me confidence that they fully understood the challenge and were thoughtful and strategic in determining the best way to address it. Unfortunately, the HVAC system went out at a beach rental property, which obviously impacted our ability to rent the home and created inconvenience for guests. After I explained the urgency of the situation, Steve and his team made every effort to fit me in quickly and expedited the service call. Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and they worked seamlessly with my property manager to coordinate access to the property. They also helped facilitate energy-saving credits and rebate programs, which was greatly appreciated. The new equipment looks fantastic, performs exactly as expected, and the overall communication from start to finish was exceptional. While they may have been slightly more expensive than some other options, the added cost was well worth it for the level of expertise, professionalism, and confidence they provided. They clearly understood both the technical challenges and the equipment, committed to a tight and compressed timeline, and delivered on everything they promised. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend Custom Mechanical to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and professional HVAC team.
