Very pleased with the work performed by McMahon Spray Foam! Anthony was very responsive to correct an attic heat loss issue discovered at my home after a recent storm that resulted in the formation of ice dams and interior water leaks. His work crew was very professional and did a thorough job to insulate the attic, walls and basement box beams. The price to complete the work was very fair. Thank you Anthony for your flexibility to come come through on short notice!

Anthony is absolutely the best and nicest contractor I have ever dealt with. His crew did an unbelievable job insulating my house. They were on time finished the job when they said they would. Even the building inspector said it was a “nice job” when he inspected the work.

I do not recommend this company at all , They were worse experience I have had , Their contract was to pass inspection, when my inspection failed because of them and I had paid them in full they never came back to address the issue of not passing inspection. They ignored the problem and I ended up hiring another company to finish their work they left behind., save your time and money use someone else. we thought we had a good thing in beginning and turned out to be a nightmare! DO NOT HIRE THEM if you want the job done correctly
Frequently Asked Questions About McMahon Spray Foam
How much insulation do I need to install?
How much insulation a home needs will vary from property to property. New England homes will need more of it than those in the southern U.S. because the climate is much colder. It’s better to go with more than less. Your home’s age also plays a role. The older it is, the more likely it needs more insulation. Contact us today if you'd like to learn more about our spray foam insulation.
Is insulation fire-resistant?
Strides have been made in the last few years to make insulation products as fire-resistant as possible. This is true for our products. Fiberglass insulation boasts the most fire-resistant qualities other than our fireproofing options. Contact us today if you'd like to learn about the fire safety of our spray foam insulation.
Why is insulation important?
Insulation is a crucial part of any New England home. The main thing insulation helps with is increasing your home’s energy efficiency, preventing it from getting too stuffy during the summer and too chilly during the winter. It reduces the strain on your home’s energy systems, which in turn lowers your monthly energy bill costs. Insulation also helps muffle out bothersome outside noise and makes your home more comfortable. If you're looking for new insulation, including high-quality spray foam insulation, contact us today!
Where should insulation be installed?
The best places to install insulation in your home are in basement walls, attics, between interior walls, and floors. The main goal with insulation is to ensure your home is completely covered without any pockets of unwanted air. The best place to start is with attics and ceilings because these are the most accessible. Then, work your way down. Contact us today if you're ready to install high-quality insulation, including spray foam insulation.
Does insulation cause pest problems?
Older and less effective types of insulation can create habitable nests for creatures like nice and other rodents. That isn’t the case with our products.
What are R-values?
An R-value is a tool used to measure a type of insulation’s effectiveness in preventing heat flow in and out of a home. The higher the R-value is, the better your insulation product will be at keeping your home energy efficient. Our products, including our spray foam insulation, have high R-values because they’re needed in New England’s climate.
Is my insulation a health risk?
Depending on your home’s construction, you may need to upgrade your insulation. This is especially the case if your home originated in the early 1900s. Asbestos was a common ingredient in insulation products back then, which could cause health risks. Our insulation products will never threaten your home or your health.
What types of insulation do you install?
We specialize spray foam insulation, fiberglass insulation, Roxul insulation, and blown-in cellulose insulation.
What are your business hours?
