I had a great experience with New London County Septic & Excavation. Todd was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and most importantly, he gave me an honest assessment without trying to sell me something I didn’t need—even though he easily could have. That level of integrity is hard to find. Because of their honesty and professionalism, I will absolutely be using them moving forward. Highly recommend!

When you catch them in a lie and they try to change their story - definitely use any other company - it's funny when a co responds so you go back to listen to the Ring to make sure what you said is right. I never said 20 years but that has to do with the second part. I hope that this is miscommunication between the owner and an employee not the owner who completed the inspection and wrote the reply. I don't care if the septic needs to be replaced as I told the realtor not my house I'm only there to let you in. First was when he said he inspected the two lines to which I replied you know there's four, the original 2 and the replaced to which "oh yeah we looked at 3 and they're all flooded" and then went on to explain he was wondering why there was two pipes etc. So did he really - look don't think so, and then he stated as fact that anytime you need to put in a new leech field you have to put in a new tank. To which I responded that's not true and got an immediate "yes it is." Then I stated that I had just replaced the fields in my house when I bought it 5 years ago and did not need a new tank. He said stood there for a few seconds oh must be 20 years or less. I said I don't know but that's not every time is it? "I guess I'll have to call the health department." You definitely should. Update, a more reputable company came out & replaced the lines. Inspected by health department and passed inspection. Short story don't trust these clowns.

Very responsive! I received a quote with in hours of when I called! That's hard to find sometimes. Thank you After 3 quotes I chose this company because most responsive, has licenses needed to do job, clear in terms, no bs and was less expensive then the others. I had issues with the other company quotes. He and his company showed up 15 min early on the day scheduled, worked most of the day to replace the broken water line in my yard from road meter to basement home meter, left everything neat as possible. Done no problems. Payment process was smooth no issues, charged what was quoted. I would recommend this company and will use them again. Thank you for your hard work and professionalism.

Frequently Asked Questions About New London County Septic & Excavation

How often should I get my septic tank pumped?

We get this question a lot. The state health department recommends pumping your tank every three to five years. If you have children living at home, you should consider having the tank serviced more often. This is due to the fact that your household uses more water for things such as showers, laundry, dishes, etc. If you think you may need your system pumped, our septic services in Stonington, CT can help!

I have no idea where my septic tank is located, how do I find it?

Most systems installed after 1980 should have an “as-built” drawing on file at your local health department or town sanitarian's office. If an as-built drawing is not on file, we will have to locate equipment that we can use to help find your septic tank. Our ability to get the job done is why people rely on us for septic services in Stonington, CT!
