Pillar Floors did an excellent job repairing ice dam water damage and refinishing Oak floors in our kitchen. They removed A section Of warped boards and matched the new section perfectly with the older floor. The satin finish is perfect. They prepped properly so there was a little dust and they cleaned up perfectly when they were done. I Highly recommend Alfredo and his crew for professionalism and a great restoration job. All of this was done while we were away and were thrilled to return to see what a great job they did. Thanks Pillar Floors.

If you’re looking to replace existing flooring with quality hardwood look no further than Pillar Wood Floors. They are tremendous all around.
From the time I contacted them until the end of the project was a great experience. Their knowledge, workmanship and cleanliness are top shelf. Once we decided to hire Pillar Wood Floors, Alfredo and Maria got right on the project, had the materials delivered and finished within a week. To be honest, I talked with another contractor out of Norwich for an estimate and still haven’t heard back.
Great company, great professional team and a job well done.
Thank you Pillar Wood Floors!

I met with six different hardwood flooring contractors as I weighed replacing our carpeted second floor with hardwood flooring. Simply put, Alfredo at Pillar Wood Flooring stood out head and shoulders above the others. His thoughtful understanding of the project’s requirements, along with his astute recommendations and detailed cost estimate, made his company the clear choice. His excellent office support (thank you Maria!) only reinforced this decision. Finally, and most importantly, the execution of the project was first-rate. Pillar met all their scheduling commitments and the crew did an excellent installation job. Based on my experience, I can highly recommend Pillar Wood Flooring without reservation.

We had three rooms with heavy wear patterns and dark water stains in the kitchen and entry ways. Someone suggested we just replace all the wood or cover them with a floating floor product.
Our home is 100 years old and deserved preservation so we had Alfredo explain what we could expect from refinishing the floors.
He gave us two choices, an oil base that would be similar to the original or a clear poly that lets the new finish show. We went with the clear and it brightened the whole look.
Professional crew that was very good at their trade. No damage to walls or trim we highly recommend Pillar Floors.
