I was at Home Depot on Sunday and noticed the Wren kitchen studio. I went in to look at the styles of cabinets and doors because I was thinking of redoing my kitchen for Christmas, but when I entered the studio, the manager was super rude, asking me to leave the shopping cart outside with my two babies inside the cart. Because of his rudeness and lack of understanding about me having two babies in the cart, I gave up on looking at the cabinets. I hope in the future people are greeted in a more friendly manner. I understand the carts can’t go inside but I just needed enough to just look inside. I was very disappointed with his attitude and approach. He was very serious when delivering his message.

My wife and I saved for several years to begin renovating our kitchen, including demolition, floor renovation, painting, etc. We decided to install Wren kitchens after seeing them in the Home Depot showroom in Danbury, CT. The service was excellent; we liked the look, the price, and the apparent quality. However, there were flaws from the beginning in the design, including incorrect filler measurements, a lack of panels to provide a flushing finish like the one we saw in the showroom, and panels with incorrect measurements as well. I asked for help in the showroom with the manager, Anthony, who said I would have to deal with customer service, and that he didn't have time to help me and that it wasn't his problem. So I contacted customer service, received excellent service, and they are trying to resolve my problem. My kitchen is a mess; everything has been at a standstill for two weeks. We are very anxious and suffering because of this. The people who finished the carpentry, flooring, and painting are waiting for the cabinet installation to be completed so they can finish their part.

Wren is new to our area. We have heard good things so decided to check it out for kitchen renno. Anthony Sousa was our rep. We feel very lucky that we happened to work with him. We were on someone of a tight budget and he worked with us to get us exactly what we needed. The layout + design he was able to come up with in their design tool and his knowledge of how the kitchen should flow was outstanding. It took us a long time to pull trigger on doing the project but Anthony was super patient with us. He was in touch via text for a few months while we sorted out our budget. Zero pushy sales, just support for when we were ready to go. He made sure to lock in any discounts he could and held them for us. To be honest, if Anthony wasn't out rep, I don't think we would have went with Wren. He is the one that made it a no brainer decision and we could not be happier with the product quality and his layout/design. If you are thinking about a new kitchen, I highly recommend Wren and if you can make it happen, work with Anthony.

If you're thinking of going to the home depot in Danbury, I suggest you don't work with Anthony. As he thought he knew what he was doing, I was stuck by how uniform he was. At the end of my appointment, he became angry and unprofessional with me. And as his assistant never put her phone down (witch I found very distracting) It was unprofessional also. I went to there store in milford and had a much different experience. Very helpful and polite to work with. I recommend that store over home depot in Danbury.
