Rick and Ray did a fantastic job with my home energy audit which I did via Eversource They showed up right on schedule and went through the entire inspection with real attention to detail . It took three hours and 30 minutes so I know it’s very thorough. They explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and were patient and knowledgeable throughout. Both of them were very friendly and professional. I’m really impressed with the level of service they provided and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing an energy audit!

I have been completely failed by FF HITCHCOCK.
I had a full service done on my system which only took 15 minutes and the guy stayed in his truck for an hour and half . (Clearly did not empty our system or service our tankless system)
Two weeks later On a Thursday, Our only 2 year old tankless water heater ( installed by Hitchcock) stopped working. Navien warranties the part but not labor totaling nearly 700 dollars for only an hour of labor. Do Not , I repeat DO NOT USE FF. Hitchcock and DO NOT GET THEIR SERVICE PACKAGE. It does not cover anything and only gives a small discount.
Update - The part was overnighted by navien to be installed Friday, on Friday I was told it was not in and they would follow up with Navien. When the part comes they will call and they could come out Saturday, since we do not have hot water. I called multiple times over the weekend never to get a return call.
They finally answered on Monday - I was told the part is not in. So I called navien they provided tracking info, the part was delivered Friday and signed by M. Rodriguez .
I went days without hot water and lied to.

Wonderful experience with Phil and Chris who performed my home energy audit! They were very thorough and explained everything in terms I could understand. They showed me exactly what they were doing and did it all with smilies and humor. They were very careful with maintaining the cleanliness of my home. They wore booties while inside and took them off to go outside or into the attic. They cleaned up after themselves and left my house in the state it was in prior to their arrival. They even cleanup when I told them I would do it. I am very happy with the service provided and I highly recommend them!!
I am also very satisfied with the scheduling/handling of my energy audit by Chris and the office. I had a different company come out the first time and for multiple reasons they stopped the audit and left. Chris and the office worked together to get my audit reopened so I could get it assigned with them and all before the special program ended. I can’t say thank you enough. I highly recommend this team/company.

The technician who came out to fix my AC unit in August was friendly and knowledgeable, but he arrived an hour after the scheduled window with no notice. I even took PTO from work to be home for the appointment, which felt like a complete waste of time when no one communicated the delay. He also encouraged me to sign up for a yearly membership to help save me money, explaining that if I canceled early, I’d only owe the difference for the year. When I tried to cancel, I was told I’d have to repay the discounts too. This was not mentioned by the tech or put in writing. When I called to discuss the misunderstanding, Brandy and Deborah were rude and dismissive and gave me a lot of hassle before rectifying the situation. Mind you, I paid almost $900 (with discounts!) to them to replace a fan in my unit. If I’m dropping that kind of money, I’d expect them to be more considerate of a misunderstanding that THEIR technician made. Disappointing experience overall, I’d recommend getting everything in writing if you do their membership and confirming appointment times before taking time off work. Hopefully they’ll teach their technicians to give out more accurate information about this membership program in the future so this doesn’t happen again.

I have had some good and bad experiences with this company but through the years have decided to continue working with them. My most recent experience just yesterday is what made me decide to take my business somewhere else. I pay for their service plan. This past Friday a technician came out to service my boiler. The technician seem pleasant and for the most part i thought he did his job correctly. For context let me share that my boiler is not even two years old and was installed by FF Hitchcock. Saturday morning I wake up to an overwhelming smell of burning oil. I tried to go to the basement and attempt to find where the smell is coming from but could not find it and had to leave the basement because i could not withstand the smell for long. I called their on call services to let them know what was going on and expressed that i was very concerned with the smell, it being a new boiler and the tech being her the day before. I asked if i should turn my boiler off. They said they could not advise me and would have someone from the office call me. Three hours go by and nothing. I open the windows in my home to try to help with the smell. I call the on call service again to let them know i have not heard from anyone. They told me again that someone from the office will call me. Another three hours go by and nothing. At this point i am getting worried so i call the local fire department. They come out to investigate and confirm the boiler was burning oil that was leaking from underneath. They stated the tech may have done something wrong or forgot to do something and advised me to shut off my boiler and have it serviced again. At this point it is around 6pm. I decided to call a different HVAC company (SM Mechanicals) that was scheduled to come to my home Monday to install a new central air unit in the second floor. I spoke to their on call rep and the owner called me back WITHIN A HALF HOUR! They scheduled one of their techs to come in Sunday first thing in the morning to investigate and service. The price to get it serviced to fix the error created by the tech from FF Hitchcock was pretty pricey. The fact that I even had to call another company to get this resolved so that we can have heat and have to pay such a high price is ridiculous. If FF Hitchcock cant keep up with the demand of service they need to stop lying to their customers having them sign up for a service plan, take peoples money but not respond or show up when they are needed!
