  John and the team at CT K&B took our old kitchen and dining space and turned it into something special. They made the most of the space and project was done on time and on budget which is very rare these days. Highly recommend.

  Working with CT Kitchen and Bath, especially John Yates, was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From our very first meeting, John listened closely to my needs and offered gentle, creative design suggestions that elevated our vision without ever feeling pushy. His design is smart, stylish, and truly tailored to how we live. John was exceptionally responsive. Every question was answered quickly, and communication was clear and consistent throughout the project. The support staff in John’s shop were welcoming and helpful, making selections and scheduling easy and stress-free. The project moved along quickly and efficiently, with careful attention to detail at every step. The crew was professional, tidy, and respectful of our home, and the job was completed within the timeline provided without sacrificing quality. The result is a beautiful kitchen that has transformed the overall look and feel of our home, brighter, more functional, and effortlessly cohesive with the rest of the space. I’m thrilled with the craftsmanship and design. I highly recommend CT Kitchen and Bath and John Yates for any kitchen remodel. Professional, creative, responsive, and a joy to work with.

  As an interior designer, I have worked with countless vendors, work rooms, showrooms, contractors and fellow designers and many stand out— like John from CT Kitchen and Bath. Together we have done many projects and I’ve always been so impressed at his level of skill and expertise after decades in the business. His personable elegant wife Eileen and the ever-talented and lovely Linda (who does a little bit of everything in the studio) are a brilliant team. I’ve been lucky to work with so many of his clients and they are some of my very favorite! Such kind warm people with gorgeous projects I’m honored to be part of. If you want a smooth process that gets you the exact result you are dreaming of, give this studio a try. Highly recommend!

  I cannot recommend John enough for bringing our dream kitchen to life here in Simsbury! After years of imagining a space that felt both timeless and personal, we finally have a kitchen that is the true heart of our home. John’s designs are one-of-a-kind! I love that no one has a kitchen identical to us. Ours is truly a showstopper and has a professional look that takes the room to the next level. John even went above and beyond crafting a template for a custom backsplash. He worked with the stone company and aligned everything to make sure my idea for a backsplash came to life. From the initial CAD renderings to the final installation, the communication was seamless. John managed to balance high-end aesthetics with practical functionality, making the most of every square inch. If you’re looking for a designer in the Farmington Valley who actually listens and delivers exceptional craftsmanship, look no further.
