  Do not use this company, hire a local guy or at the very least do not sign up for a monthly "plan" I have been trying to cancel for 6 months and you have to write a letter to cancel your $20 subscription. Scoop of work was also unclear and made an unnecessary hole in my wall trying to find the pipe, then did not repair.

  Over priced and inexperienced. Shower faucet had a light stream leak. I googled local plumbers and found this place. I was pleased they offered same day service and waived their $79 charge to come out to inspect the issue. The tech sent seemed inexperienced, as he kept calling his boss to run things. He informed me that the valve for the faucet needed to be replaced and offered additional work which totaled over $4,000. I requested that he just place the valve. After replacing it he tells me that the good news is the values replaced and the bad news is that it didn’t stop the issue, he stated that it’s hard to tell if the problem is fixed without running the water after repair and charged me $322 for the valve replacement and his time. The issue was worse, now a heavy flow coming from the faucet. He quoted me an additional charge of $2,000 if they purchased the pieces needed and $1351 if I were to purchase the pieces myself. The piece he told me I needed was $75 at Home Depot. After speaking with his boss regarding my dissatisfaction, he said that the $322 could be used as a credit toward the additional repair. When I asked the tech about scheduling the repair he said someone from the office would call once he leaves and come at a later date. At this point my water needed to be shut off because of the leak. A day later, never received a call. Connected with another contractor and they fixed the issue same day, purchased the parts all for $1,000.

  My girlfriend Rachel and I experienced a sudden back-up in our septic shortly after the holidays. What we hoped was going to be solved by a routine septic tank pumping turned into a bit more of an issue. With the help of Chris, Eric, Humberto, and Emma we were able to diagnose the issue and have a compromised septic line dug up and replaced within nearly 24 hours! The team at Benjamin Franklin is nothing short of remarkable and we could not have asked for a better crew of professionals to help us through this situation. We will certainly be using Benjamin Franklin for any further septic or plumbing issues that may come up in the future. We can’t thank you enough!

  I had a great experience with Ryan Wesson from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Our Combi hot water boiler (HTP ELU 150WCN) stopped working, but Ryan quickly got it back up and running. He also identified a few underlying issues and provided clear options for the best way forward. Thanks to him, my family has heat and hot water again. Cheers, Ryan!

  Nick was very helpful, and a great young man. We really enjoyed meeting him. Also my contact with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was very pleasant and personable to begin with inspite of some mixup on information due to a system error with the Holiday. Everything worked out well.
