  We have been in our home a year at the end of May. I do not recommend this builder. The quality of the home is extremely poor. Faucet leaks, roof leaks, cracked walls, drywall issues, driveway cement chipping away, walls are extremely thin, the seal in the kitchen and bathroom backsplash is spreading apart which creates concern for water getting underneath possibly creating mold issues. I can’t forget electrical problems, lights going out on one side of the room to find out it was a loose wire behind an outlet that was connected to the side of the room that lost power, fridge going out of and on. The list is too long to even list. As I love the layout, the home is poorly built. It’s very disappointing. Warranty try’s to fix to the best of their abilities. As crazy as this sounds it really has affected me on so many levels. The homes AC constantly run’s unable to keep cool to temperature set. Too small of a unit but was told that the size of the unit put in the home was based on a computer generated module showing where each window and door is placed in which direction you’re home faces. When I asked to see this report I was told there was nothing to show. If it’s computer generated, they must have a report someplace to show me. I just think they never have had anybody ask that question before and they were not sure how to answer. If you are considering purchasing please please do your homework talk to home owner’s get their opinions. I have spoken to people who work for Richmond and purchased the home that are disappointed in the quality of the home as well. There are other things that should be fixed but being in the home almost a year I am simply tired of having people in and out of our home. Having to take a day off work in order to fix issues that should have been done with quality workmanship in the first place. I want to add something to my review I wrote this about a month ago my warranty is up and I just want you all to know what I’ve been dealing with as of 11:15 PM July 1 I was deal with a leak in the ceiling of my living room. I reached out to the after hours to see if they can give me some direction I understand my warranty is up but I was desperate and I was spoken to very rudely. These people are programmed he said no your warranty is over perhaps you call a plumber. I was just clearly looking for direction and offered to even pay. I wasn’t looking for a handout because I understand the rules but that’s the kind of treatment that I got. They did not care I was dealing with a leak in the living room coming from upstairs.

  Wish I could give it 10 stars. Our experience buying with Richmond was truly a night-and-day difference compared to our time with Lokal. First and foremost, the home itself is absolutely stunning—but what made this journey truly exceptional was the way we were treated every step of the way. Chrisann Estrada is nothing short of AMAZING. If I ever decide to purchase another home, I will 100% seek her out to see which community she’s representing. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and—most importantly—compassionate. I’ve never worked with someone who genuinely cared as much as she did. A huge thank you also goes to Jenifer Fugi and Khrista Medina in underwriting. The process had its challenges, but they were there for us through every single moment, guiding and supporting us all the way to closing. Zach Keys, who oversaw our build, was equally impressive. He’s one of the most down-to-earth people you’ll meet, and his attention to detail gave us complete confidence in the quality of our new home. He took the time to walk us through everything, explaining all the features with patience and care. If you're considering a new build, Richmond is absolutely the way to go—but I highly recommend finding a community where these specific individuals are. They turned what could have been a stressful process into something truly special. Thank you to the entire Richmond team for your incredible work!
