- BEBrian EwaldDec 18, 20251.0Don’t stand behind their products, specifically their in-house made doors/jams. I have a door that the primer has is not bonded at all with the wood jam and it is just flaking off in large chucks (the entire jam). The more you sand it, to try and repair, the more just flakes off with no bond to the wood at all. The door was painted just after install, but the primer under the paint is what is pealing off. Clearly a manufacturer defect, whether they prime them or buy the jam materials already primed. Aaron has said he would replace the jam/frame, but has not done so. This process started in early September. It is now Dec. 17. Aaron seems to be dodging phone calls and will not return calls either. This peeling was present within 2 months of the door being installed. My advise, if you’re getting a Masonite slab(door) just buy it from Lowe’s or Home Depot and Masonite will warranty their work for between 2-10 years, including the finish (primer). Don’t bother trying to cover yourself with a kind reply. You’ve got my contact info if you want to actually make it right.
