I have been in my home for about a year now, and I am extremely happy with how the entire buying process with this builder went. They are happy to make sure that anything Warranty wise is taken care of effectively, they follow up when they need to and truly care about their clients. I would purchase another land sea home!

I recently worked with family members on their purchase of a new Landsea paired home at Pintail Commons in Johnstown. I’m a seasoned home and building inspector with 20 years and 6500+ home/building inspections’ experience. I participated with my family members through the entire purchase and closing process of their home. In addition to typical home purchase considerations, we went with this Landsea home based on the initial sense of quality construction we saw in the models for that price point.
Based on my knowledge, in my opinion the overall new home purchase and construction process experience and end quality product comes down to the construction superintendent and their team in managing the subs and then the skills and work ethic of sub-contractors themselves. To a much lesser degree, the building company itself plays a role in the experience and quality delivered.
I’m happy to share a very positive and satisfactory experience with Landsea’s salesperson Katy and the construction team of Joe (superintendent) and Matt (assistant superintendent). They were professional, responsive and exceeded expectations.
I inspected the home throughout the stages of construction and found the punch lists I developed to be far fewer and less critical than I often find. The home and process weren’t perfect, but the relatively few issues we had were addressed quickly and thoroughly. They didn’t push back or cut corners and I found them to even be proactive on one issue. The Landsea team was very accommodating in correcting and/or completing all items, only exception being an outstanding hail damaged roof replacement still pending material availability and scheduling among all NOCO area pending roof hail repairs.
Based on our experience I can confidently recommend these Landsea homes, under this team. Albeit, I still recommend ALL homes have a qualified 3rd party inspection.
