Called ahead to check product availability. Verified price, and triple checked to make sure they had it. Once I was certain, drove an hour and fourth five minutes one way to pickup the product. I drove all the way back to a remote site and tore the old catalyst material out renedering both units completely unusable and began toinstall the material. After a couple hours of installation and tinkering, i found out they had sold me steel wool or something other completely inert material. not catalyst. I only asked for catalyst. I clarified multiple times I needed catalyst. I chose doubletree rather than a competitor whom also had it because of how kind and reassuring the individual on the phone was. I spent 4 hours in just travel time to pick up product from a seemingly trustworthy supplier, and was left high and dry, effectively losing an entire day or work for nothing. Thanks doubletree heating, really cool.

After moving to a different house, we kept having problems with our gas fireplace staying lit. We had spent hundreds of dollars with the local fireplace specialists in town only to have the same problems. Our neighbor, who is a retired realtor, uses Doubltree and recommended them. Rob persisted until he found the underlying issue and he left us with a working fireplace. They are very fair and reasonable.

We always received great service when needed. They were there on time and always performed all the needed services. We were snowbirds and had a hot water heater pipe freeze while we were away. They brought in heaters and checked the pipe everyday to make sure we had no breaks. They also installed and serviced our gas fireplaces.

I have used DHAC for both Breeze Air turn on and shut down. Both experiences seemed great until this weekend. On Wednesday night we noticed a slow drip in my son's closet in his room, but we had a lot of rain and thought we had a possible small leak. On Thursday night it appeared the leak had stopped and so had the rain, it seemed to be the issue. On Friday night it was still moist, but drip was still gone, so we thought it needed time to dry out. Unfortunately on Saturday night we notice a water stain on the ceiling and now an active leak again. On Sunday morning the carpet was soaked a 3x5ft amount and there are more water stains. I contact DHAC and they are not answering email or call. Another plumbing company came out. It turns out there was a drip from the swamp cooler water line, the nut where the line connects to the cooler, on the roof. The drip followed the line into our attic and caused the water damage. I am letting others know that DHAC may not be to blame and this leak Could have started the next day, but according to the newest plumber it is something they should and could have noticed from start up. So I will change my rating to a 1 star. I am very heartbroken that damage was caused to our ceiling, walls and carpets, that could have been prevented. But I am more disappointed that this could possible be a shotty job. I do not know 100% that they did not miss the leak upon hook up. I would like you to be aware so you can decide. They are friendly and charged less, but the extra $225 plumbing repair and possible $1000 in repairs outweigh friendly and cheaper cost. This post will let others know in case this happens again or to give you an idea of a possible easily preventable and costly error. ***Update: Plumber confirmed, upon taking line off, he believes the plumber who did the hook up (DHAC) should have seen the leak upon turn on because the leak is from the nut and it was a leak that would have been there at turn on. Again, this looks like it is the fault of DHAC.
