  We engaged Gapter in October 2025, based on multiple recommendations, to complete a new septic system installation on our property. After authorizing the work, communication became inconsistent and required repeated follow-ups over several months just to obtain updates. Gapter advised they preferred not to proceed with excavation during the winter due to frost conditions and recommended waiting until March. We agreed to that timeline. Despite this, March passed without any outreach, scheduling, or progress from their team. We ultimately initiated contact again in April. At that time, notwithstanding the fact that permits, system plans, and test pits had all been completed as early as October, Gapter responded: “Given the communication issues and the disconnect regarding the project timeline and site preparation, we feel it is best for you to find a different septic installer.” This response came after more than five months of delay, with no installation work performed. The lack of communication, failure to follow through on the agreed timeline, and ultimate withdrawal from the project after significant delay were disappointing. Based on our experience, we would not recommend working with this company.

  They are extremely talented at what they do, and you can tell they care as well. The owners and employees could not be nicer!

  I can't give zero stars? The owner of this establishment was extremely hostile with me and has tried to chase down me down more than once.. Not only is this business deceptive, they're downright dangerous.
