Said there was a good chance with some workarounds they could get it done while covering the deductible. Turns out that wasn't even close to being true. Like $4100 off, not even close. They will just say anything. Now it's time for my renewal, and to shop a new policy is a major headache with an open claim. Of course they don't care about this, they've moved on to the next house. If you see them knocking on your door, just walk away.
