  I will not be recommending this company to anyone. I wanted them to look at loose hinges and why my garage door was slamming to the ground. The technician tried to sell me a new garage door a minimum of three times when he was told no each time. When told I couldn't afford it, well we offer financing. After that it was determined that I needed new springs and he would work up a quote and I dont know if I can fix your hinges. The quote consisted of new rollers, lifetime springs, a new motor, and any other parts that may be needed to the tune of almost $1800. Again he pushed a new garage door since I was halfway there in repair costs. When asked what he makes on commissions for new doors he stated "I make more on repairs than new doors". The new motor mentioned was for a new garage door opener which I don't need. From there we go back to springs (5 year) and fix the hinges (tells me more than half have loose screws which was not true because I check them). He said he may find more things when he takes the springs down. Low and behold he said my bearings were going bad and it would cost $300 more. The bearings rattled a bit but still spun around. At this point I am so disgusted and tell him to use the bearings, replace the springs and fix the hinges. He also pushed some monthly program and when I said I would think about it he said I had until the job was done to decide. Work was done and the next morning I put my garage door up and one of the hinges lets loose and I am climbing a ladder in dress clothes to look a panel in place to move the hinge back. I fixed the hinge myself. I may have missed some other details but this was the bulk of it.

  Creepy sales tactics. Guy shows up early in the morning, blocks my driveway with his truck, walks around taking pictures of my house. When he finally rings the doorbell we play a recording telling him nicely that we're not interested. He ignores it, knocks on the door, wakes my kid up. I have to go out in my pajamas and tell him to leave the property. I saw him do the same thing to multiple other houses on my block.

  Easy to schedule an appointment, great communication on arrival of technician Garrett who explained everything very well and performed excellent work in a very timely manner. In fact, Garrett went above and beyond our service call for a tuneup to schedule another appointment to fix an issue with our garage which was rebuilt a few years ago by Dons. Can’t say enough good things about our experience with Don’s & Garrett.

  I highly recommend Don's garage to anyone looking for maintenance / replacement. From the initial call to end of services, their staff does a phenomenal job. They use actual employees and not contracted labor, their installers Jovan and Ethan are incredible people who really care about their work. Don's staff are honest and care deeply about their work. We couldn't be happier with our choice in their services. THANK YOU

  David was great thorough and showed integrity. I had an unusual old door setup that another company repaired incorrectly. It took some ingenuity to fix and he worked with other techs off site to figure out a solution to reconfigure it that was reasonable for my budget yet safe. He even cleaned up the job site and left it as he found it, which is wonderfully refreshing and shows respect. I would definitely have David come back for anything else that comes up.
