  We had a great experience working with Brian at Vail Valley Hardwoods! After an ice machine leak warped several floorboards in front of our refrigerator, Brian was the only contractor willing to repair the damage using matching original wood from a smaller bathroom. His team carefully removed and reused the boards, and the result looks fantastic — truly the best outcome we could have hoped for. Brian also helped us coordinate with a tile professional to retile the bathroom and oversaw that part of the job to ensure everything was done right. He was reasonable, punctual, easy to communicate with, and the billing process was straightforward. The project was completed on time and on budget. I highly recommend Vail Valley Hardwoods for any flooring project, big or small!

  We needed both repair of significant water damage and a complete refinish. Brian was very responsive prior to, during, and after the job. He offered great recommendations and visited daily during the work. The production team was proficient, professional, and pleasant. Most people likely only get their floors refinished once, maybe twice, so using Vail Valley Hardwoods with its tremendous knowledge and experience, and high-touch customer service is the obvious choice.

  Brian and his team did an excellent job refinishing our old wood floors and even worked some magic on the engineered hardwood that was in rough shape. Our floors feel brand new and have truly transformed our space. Not only was the work outstanding, but Brian was so great to work with. He’s personable and super knowledgeable about his work. The team that worked on our house, run by Selma, was equally amazing to work with. Selma helped me understand my options when it came to the stain we wanted. She was so patient and helped me arrive at the best decision and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. They really understand the different wood they are working with and how the stains will take to various conditions in our old house. All to say, we whole-heartedly recommend working with Brian at Vail Valley Hardwoods. We would use them again in a heartbeat, and thanks to them hopefully won’t have to for quite some time!
